Thank you for reaching out to us. The work of the Boston Globe's​ ​Spotlight Team depends heavily on tips and material from the public.

Please excuse the form letter you're getting here, but please​ ​know that we review each communication and every tip goes into a master file. We respond to some relatively quickly, and others may​ ​be referred to beat reporters who we think are better able to address the issue.  

In the master database, we also look for patterns and often​ ​re-review ​tips ​if new information emerges.
