     New Republican Party Affiliated Member

     Sought for Election  Commission
    Position comes with $1,250 stipend

     

    (MEDFORD)—In accordance with state law, the City is seeking a Republican party

     

    affiliated member to fill a vacancy on the Election Commission,

     

    Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced.

     

    The Elections Commission is comprised of four members,

     

    with varying political party affiliations, tasked with overseeing

     

    all aspects of municipal, state and federal election operations.

     

    The body is responsible for certifying elections and crafting policies and

     

    procedures to ensure voting is handled securely and efficiently. The Commission generally meets on the third Wednesday of every month.
