Green line extension
With the no completion in sight for the Green Line Extension, the candidates discussed the cuts made to the project and the severe overspending that has led to the project being $1 billion dollars over budget.
Though each had different plans for cutting the spending and paying for the project, they did agree that the lack of completion is frustrating.
Cheung advocated for harsher penalties for contractors and developers when a project is over budget or not as promised.
