the public records request filed is in motion to find out if Stephanie Muccini Burke intentionally and willfully let the "full complement of appointments" expire - the prior eligible list without her son's name on it - basically, she "scrubbed" the list, allegedly, so that more qualified candidates have to take a back seat, allegedly, to her son who would have had to have waited years if MOMMY DEAREST didn't let the eligible list expire, allegedly.

Her decision not to go forward with the full complement of appointments that had been authorized from the prior eligible list was justified. Further, after a careful review of all the information presented, including the statements of the Mayor who voluntarily appeared before the Commission on two (2) different occasions regarding this matter, I do not believe that her decision here was based on any personal or political reasons.
(Those are the words of Commissioner Christopher C. Bowman...so what Muccini-Burke showed up twice to lobby for her son to be a firefighter...ooops..."regarding this matter." Scam! Burke's son gets pushed up the list and doesn't have to wait years, allegedly. )
For these reasons, I have concluded that an investigation by the Commission is not warranted and this matter, docketed under Tracking No. I-19-096, is closed.
