ACM NEEDS TO RESCIND PHONY MEDFORD AWARD, OR IS THE $$$$$ MORE IMPORTANT THAN INTEGRITY -- THEY CHARGE AN APPLICATION FEE TO WIN AN 'AWARD" AND THAT BLOCKS ACCESS PRODUCERS WHO CAN'T AFFORD TO SUBMIT

Hello Alliance for Community Media,

The city of Medford Massachusetts operates alleged "public" access where the station manager is actually operating the entire P/E/G.
Patrick Gordon spends more time working for the government channel than access television; they ask for CORI checks which makes the station
the laughingstock of access in the region, and their policies and procedures are designed for easy dismissal of people that they do not like.

This is not a legitimate access television station when - allegedly - the high school students have more access  to what they DESIGNATE as
public.  It's a big gray area.  The mayor can say "200 thousand for access" but it is not an accurate number.  It's a phony access TV station.

Do you people investigate these stations or is the application fee for a pay-to-play award more important to the Alliance than integrity and
being there for the REAL access television producers?

Please advise

Joe Viglione
