Following a disastrous November election cycle and with just two weeks before party elections, it’s perhaps no surprise that some GOP insiders are making the rounds to convince party members that it is time for new leadership.
“I’m out in Western Mass. today,” Amy Carnevale told the Herald Monday. “I’m kind of reaching out one-on-one to members of the state committee who will be voting.”
Carnevale, a 10-year elected committeewoman from Marblehead, threw her hat in the ring to unseat Chairman Jim Lyons in early December.
The MassGOP election is Jan. 31.
