Dealing with the Trump Lunatics - Why We Need to Fight Locally and Nationally

A Joe Viglione Essay in Motion

When you were invited to speak at the Simmons College radio event, something this writer was involved with since 1992 - the national event - you shocked everyone by being incredibly insensitive to the other panelists. You monopolized each topic to the point where you had to be interrupted to give the other panelists time. My personal time was taken by you, so rather than give the information in my folder I became a moderator solely, having to babysit your total disregard for the rights of other people. You were NOT invited back the next year, ...we waited a few years to invite you back and would have had to give you strict guidelines. You've hired me to write and for the past 51 years this professional writer has offered opinions on sports, politics, religion, music...you name it. Don't have to name-drop 50 or so publications - but when my lawyer called me that I was in the Boston Globe being quoted (on the death of Hendrix producer Alan Douglas) that fact was countered by telling him "The same quote is in the New York Times. Just offering one or two publications if more is said (or what the heck,) Rolling Stone, Wall Street Journal, etc. etc. publishing reviews the author was paid for, well, it gives the author of this opinion something your followers using cuss words do not have: credibility. That Trump cannot write simple words, shoots from the hip and says the state of Kansas rather than Missouri, not checking his facts, is indicative of the lunacy at play. Now let's get to the nitty gritty - the alleged Commander in Chief (not) https://www.encyclopedia.com/history/encyclopedias-almanacs-transcripts-and-maps/commander-chief-president disrespecting the National Anthem is the worst transgression, far worse than Beyonce, as the national leader is supposed to show by example.

Rxx, you couldn't see how insensitive and disrespectful you were to the guests at a college conference, your appearance being something good for your resume', where you totally took advantage and abused the kindness offered you, abused the other panelists and harmed the students there to hear about radio.

Not to mention the fact that you had less knowledge of radio than every other panelist. In essence, you bullied everyone and were irresponsible. Which is why you weren't invited back right away.

Since there is no arguing with an individual who bullied all the other panelists, yet had less knowledge of the subject at hand (radio,) it is very clear that the only way to deal with your lack of etiquette regarding politics is to observe it, comment on it, and publish a piece on your pathology vis-a-vis blindly following a crooked, sexual harassing thief who bankrupts companies, claimed phony bone-spurs to get out of being drafted in the Viet Nam era, smears respected generals, urinates all over reason and logic, and is the worst example for our children than Satan himself.

Or as Mick Jagger noted, Satan is a man of wealth and taste. Trump is your garden variety crook whose racist daddy left him 425 million or so for him to run through like a drunken shoplifter.

Your choice of  Donald Trump as a hero is telling. "Swalwell calls out Trump after video of president during national anthem -- https://thehill.com/homenews/house/481255-swalwell-calls-out-trump-for-video-of-him-during-national-anthem
Shame on Beyonce, Jay Z and Trump. The worst of the three is the individual in the White House who is supposed to be the role model for all citizens. Trump is not. He's a low-grade thug kissing the backsides of dictators. But this well written essay doesn't have your inflammatory exercises in lunacy - yelling louder than everyone else because your points are ridiculous at best and traitorous at worst. You, Rxx Bxxxxx are a traitor to this great nation as you point the finger at the lesser of two evils, and you praise the biggest evil, the elephant in the room: Trump himself.

But you are so busy interrupting other panelists and not being sensitive to the other invited guests around you, this "my way or the highway" routine is obnoxious and does not elicit proper two-way conversation. Belittling this writer by referencing your deficient friends with dirty mouths and a lack of logic is absurd. You can bring this to a city council meeting for a discussion of Trump, or into a court of law with judge and jury - here's a guarantee - you will be laughed out of the arena. Who would you rather have representing you: Rxx Bxxxxwho stomps all over the rights of other speakers, or a seasoned veteran fighting for public access rights in court, at the city council, in the public arena?

Remember, it was I who invited you to a prestigious 70 year old radio conference. You lacked etiquette, you monopolized the conversation, and people privately asked me not to invite you back.

Enjoy your own Facebook page and your echo chamber. Trump is the worst and intelligent people will survive Mitch McConnell, Trump, Chief Justice Roberts with his ugly Citizens United and the other traitors to this great land of the free.
