Dear Westford Community Access:
I am writing to all access centers airing on the new Medford Community Media while Medford residents are bullied and our programs are not aired. YOU are getting airtime in Medford while residents don't even know what times the station is open. By the way, I have owned a business, Community Media Medford, but young Ben Brown who seems to envy my work and who is playing you, appears to have used my company name sideways. Shame on him.
I'm a Medford resident who is not allowed on the access TV station unless I sign a five page document which says I can be sued if they don't like what I air (paraphrasing it.) Ben Brown, the novice station manager playing Jack Wang's Longhorn Financial show at 5:19 pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017 has five of my shows but won't play them. He said he needs a CORI check from all Medford candidates and producers. Mr. Wang's show is still on at 5:27 pm with Michelle Beckman. Why are they on the air and Medford residents have to jump through hoops?
Mr. Brown - the new station manager - told me he would stop airing Steve Katsos who produces in Arlington after my complaint. So why is he playing Westford resident Jack Wang and not Medford programming?
We need to know if Jack Wang has passed a CORI check to air his show in Medford and if he has signed the release form - five pages which, ostensibly, set him up for a vicious lawsuit if, say, and this is just theoretical, if a City Council President, Rick Caraviello, drags Mr. Wang into criminal court on false charges, as Mr. Caraviello did to me.
I will be suing the city and Mr. Caraviello for 1.5 million dollars. But Mr. Wang should know the legal jeopardy we Medford residents allegedly are in, and he should be concerned that his financial show is airing right now, 5:22 pm along with his pal Michelle, while candidates in Medford will have to pass a CORI check if they want their own show. They threw the candidates a breadcrumb only after I and others pressured the city and the candidates got five minutes with no CORI check. How generous, right?
Mr. Wang doesn't seem to have a viable e mail for his financial program. Please forward this to him. Oh, it just aired at the end of his program. I have it in the TO. Now there is a public service announcement about hot meals, America lunch dot or or something. 5:30 now a retirement public service announcement. Unqualified Medford Station Manager Airing Dedham TV show instead of
Medford Residents
Is there a CORI check on host Brian Kerby of 502 Sessions? Why not, if station manager Ben Brown's position is that CORI checks are required merely to play programming of Medford residents,
yet Brian Kerby's Dedham program and Steve Katsos Arlington program, of little relevance to Medford, get massive airplay, then Ben Brown has failed as station manager and needs to be fired and replaced.
City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley, a pathological liar who cannot be trusted to even investigate a board that he sat on, Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. (HOW can a city lawyer investigate a board that he was part of? Isn't that a conflict, Mr. Donato, and why haven't you gone to the authorities if it is, Mr. Donato?) said to this writer on 9/28/17 around 4:25 PM in the Law Office of Medford City Hall that he created the CORI check, which is being laughed at and ridiculed by other access TV stations.
Mr. Rumley also stated that if residents mailed in their programs they do not get CORI checked.
The law is that unsupervised contact with children at a school requires a CORI check. Here's where Rumley's logic is faulty and his action flies in the face of the 1st Amendment
1)Ben Brown is required to supervise the station. Has he even posted hours of operation on the city website and at the school and to the press and media AND ON THE ACCESS CHANNEL? I haven't seen any of it. He is paid, but he's not doing the job requirement of a station manager.
2)Rumley wants a CORI check from Access producers only, not people waltzing in from the street who give their license to the security guard - that is - when the security guard is at the high school. Parents walking into a bathroom with a child (or a student) are NOT
CORI checked, so Rumley's balderdash to Judge Jackson-Thompson about his views on free speech were fraudulent, dishonest and cruel. Rumley is the author of censorship in Medford and he's vulgar CORI check is an illicit swindle. Mark E. Rumley is cheating the very citizens that he is paid so handsomely from.
Remember, State Rep Donato, when you told me that Rumley shared the 271 Spring St. office with you? Why did a city lawyer rent an office when he works for the city? Two former mayoral candidates told me that Rumley was at Somerville court allegedly collecting money from people in debt to credit card companies. He allegedly told one of those former candidates, Mr. Anthony D'Antonio, that he had ratted Rumley out to me, a journalist. Mr. D'Antonio told Rumley, reportedly, that court is an open arena(paraphrased.)
Did Rumley use your office in a "share" and was he collecting monies - moonlighting during a critical day of the week for Medford, Thursdays, just as Mr. Rumley mixed church and state by using his taxpayer funded e mail on the Immaculate Conception church website as what was called a "permanent deacon." Since Mr. Rumley is no longer at Immaculate Conception, and he took down the city e mail when this writer identified the failure to separate church and state, both the use of the word "permanent" and the use of a taxpayer funded e mail violated the rights, in my opinion, of the citizens of the city Rumley is supposed to serve.
What are you going to do about it Rep Donato? NOTHING. And why is that, Rep Donato when you too have spoken boldly about the MOST PROTECTED RIGHT but you fail to help this citizen and the candidates get justice.
3)Ben Brown has yet to do OUTREACH or FACILITATE PROGRAMMING for the $67,500.00 he is allegedly absconding out of the pocketbooks and wallets of Medford residents paying a franchise fee.
Brown hasn't even got his absurd Producer's Agreement out to residents. This public access activist got the information into the public domain for scrutiny at the city council on 9/19/17.
On Sunday, October 1, 2017 @ 4:12 PM during a critical election cycle, State Rep Paul Donato, a Dedham Television program is airing instead of political speech by Medford residents. At 4:45 Mr. Kirby's show from Dedham is still on the air in Medford. Yet Ben Brown has programming from Medford residents and a signed producer agreement that is valid everywhere else.
Does Brown have Steve Katsos and Brian Kirby's producer agreement? What makes Brown the ARBITER OF TASTE in Medford when he lives in Woburn? Brown doesn't even KNOW Medford, but Muccini-Burke, the unqualified mayor, is prostituting Mr. Brown's services for her own nefarious desires during an election cycle. No "allegedly" allowed, we have the proof on that vis-a-vis the Chapter 74 board's fraudulent operation for close to two years with no postings of the meetings that failed to comply with the Open Meeting Law. See the AG's site and my valid complaint upheld and determination made by the office of the Attorney General.

I also produce a TV show in Westford and wanted to share the latest episode of the Personal Finance Playbook. My guest is Michelle Beckman of Sunday Dinner Stories talking about the Priceless Investment That's Missing from Your Estate Plan.
As host, I know basically what the guest will talk about, but this particular episode, I was so absorbed in the topic. While she was answering, I was thinking about my own family and relatives.

How is this any different from TV3 Medford that was shut down, and why isn't Ben Brown calling all public access producers known in Medford, we are pretty well known - and airing our shows?
Because I believe that Muccini-Burke is violating the law and using access TV for the government, not for the citizens who are required to have it, who pay for it, who deserve it.
Maybe the rumors of Muccini-Burke allegedly covering up a sex crime at the high school are why she won't let people on TV. She would NEVER have been elected in 2015 if that allegation proved to be true. So is this why she used the Six Hundred Thousand Dollars that I saved this city (more every quarter) when I shut down Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. and forced Mayor McGlynn to pull the agreement away from his good, good friends at the disgraced TV3 that now can't even dissolve as the AG's office said "law enforcement" is involved.
Mr. Donato, your silence is deafening, along with that of Senator Markey, Christine Barber, Sean Garballey and Pat Jehlen. But more so you, Mr. Donato, as you are the one who squawked about your show being censored allegedly by board member of TV3 Arthur Alan Deluca.
When it happens to you personally, Mr. Donato, you scream from the rooftops. What about when it happens to your CONSTITUENTS, Mr. Donato.
Open up TV3. Fire Ben Brown. Get control of access away from Muccini-Burke during an election cycle. more to come this Tuesday October 3 at the City Council meeting when I speak.

City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley / Medford Daily Mercury on or about Nov. 16, 2008 (quoted from the 2nd Judge Jackson-Thompson hearing) saying:
“The one sentiment that I have heard that I take great exception to is that the city is trying to limit speech,” said Rumley. “The notion the city would censor or squelch free speech is baseless and as city solicitor I would find any such effort repugnant.”
On Sept. 1, 2016 Medford Solicitor Rumley was removed from a witness stand by a judge for testimony deemed "irrelevant." On September 28, 2017,
Rumley admitted that he put the demand for a CORI check into the public
access producer agreement. The victim in the 2016 case told Rumley to
his face on 9/28/17 that Rumley's CORI demand was in direct conflict
with the above statement to the retired judge that the city would
squelch free speech. The solicitor - enraged with eyes that were infuriated - he was livid! Rumley has a lot of hot air but no respect for the citizens
paying his enormous, bloated salary. This is NOT a man who cares about
the citizens of Medford or their civil rights.
