COVID CLUSTER

Two ‘Significant' COVID Clusters in Medford Tied to Restaurant, Thanksgiving Gatherings

One cluster is connected to a potentially oversized gathering at Raso's Bar and Grille Restaurant and another is tied to a large Thanksgiving gathering at a private home, Medford Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn said.

please explain HOW IF NBC 10 QUOTES THE MAYOR, BREANNA LUNGO-KOEHN, ABOUT A PURPORTED 'POTENTIALLY OVERSIZED GATHERING AT RASO'S BAR AND GRILLE...YEAH, HALF THE CITY COUNCIL WOULD MAKE IT OVERSIZED...AND OVER WEIGHT!...

JOE S SAYETH ON FACEBOOK:

How is it no one understands trace contacting. Why are you blaming a restaurant for someone coming in there. The dunks in magoon square had to close because a patron was exposed. You can’t blame a business for someone else’s positive test.

JOE V RESPONDS

It is the mayor who is on the warpath. People complaining here seem to be missing the key point, too many people in a small place, right? NBC Channel 10 "One cluster is connected to a potentially oversized gathering at Raso's Bar and Grille Restaurant" oversized gathering and you want to give the restaurant a free pass for violating the rules, allegedly, because of the political connections? Not shocked by the shameful comments of some Medford residents, which is why there are issues

Joe V second post:

Hey, I'm just pointing to NBC 10 and the mayor: Two ‘Significant' COVID Clusters in Medford Tied to Restaurant, And many on this site probably frequent Raso's ...(and another event, editor), that's not the point. What is specific is that EVERY restaurant should not have clusters of people - it IS the responsibility of an eating establishment, no matter how politically connected, to obey the rules. It's still an allegation / possible cluster at Raso's - but given the connection to the embattled Medford Police Dept - with the most Brady-listed cops in all of Middlesex County, shoot the messenger all you want. If it were Panera or Panda I would be making the same comments and no one would get miffed. Which gives great weight to the theory of double standards and connections. I'm not the only one...I do get private e mails with the same position I have. https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/two-significant-covid-clusters-in-medford-tied-to-restaurant-thanksgiving-gatherings/2248106/
