If parents can be held criminally responsible for children taking guns to school to shoot people, then Greg Abbott needs to be held criminally responsible for his GOP/NRA stance that allows this insanity to proliferate. Abbott is a terrible Governor and more people will be at risk if Abbott isn't brought to justice. Every Republican in Texas, including Ted Cruz, needs to be held responsible for this travesty and horror.

But notably absent from Abbott’s call for legislation that would prevent gun violence in his state were demands for stricter gun control laws. The shooting Saturday at Allen Premium Outlets was the second recent mass shooting in the state, after a gunman shot and killed five people at a house in Cleveland, Texas, on April 28.
