There have been serious violations of ethical, lobbying and hiring violations at the Department of Housing & Urban Development, and senior HUD officials have been involved in efforts to cover it up. (Sounds like Medford, doesn't it? Yecch!)

the city of Medford had the keys to ALL the
apartments at the Medford Housing Authority.
After it became public knowledge there was an uproar at the City Council.

It is sad and we sympathize with the families involved, however, the voters have to know how UGLY the MCGLYNN ADMINISTRATION is and that STEPHONY MUCCINI-BURKE is an extension of the ugly, vile, disgraceful Administration of Michael J. McGlynn which is surrounded by these suspicious coincidental happenings.

Covelle allowed James J. O’Brien, a close friend of the authority’s operations director, to be hired as a maintenance worker in 2010 without board approval and without obtaining the usual criminal background check, records show.
A recent check by the authority indicated he was a sex offender, according to several board members.

James J. O'Brien passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, at the age of 43.
A lifelong Medford resident, Jimmy volunteered for many Medford youth sports programs with a special love for Medford Youth Hockey and recently St. Clement High School Football.

That’s the testimony of David Montoya, Inspector General of HUD, and Edda Emmanuelli Perez, Managing Associate General at the Government Accountability Office before the House Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.
The findings involve instances of illegal lobbying and multiple instances of ethical violations and hiring violations, including the hiring of a housing industry insider put in charge of regulatory reform while holding a position with a housing industry group. The allegations involve incidents going back to 2013
