Our Good Friend Bob Skerry needs to STEP DOWN from the School Committee for DERELICTION OF DUTY
Mr. Robert Emmett Skerry was on Mayor McGlynn's Cable TV commission as well as being on the school committee. My friend Bob utilized his day gig to promote himself as the right person for the committee:

words words words, Bobby...just words!
So - Mr. Skerry utilized his position as a SENIOR fraud examiner to promote himself for the school committee, but his obligation to Medford on the cable TV Commission - when alleged funny business was presented to the Cable TV commissioner, Mr. Skerry, who is also a fraud examiner, said that what he investigates is "not that kind of fraud."
Yikes. Mr. Skerry used the word, used his position as an investigator to get on the school committee, but when it came to his obligations to cable tv subscribers Bob didn't lift a finger. He ran. He came up with excuses. He failed to do the job that he was required to do by virtue of his being assigned to the cable TV commission by Mayor Michael J. McGlynn.

In June of 2008, I noted on the MedfordMass groups Yahoo! site that the Mayor's Cable TV Commission link was missing from the city of Medford's website.
The seven members of the Cable TV Commission at that time were former School Committee member Robert E. Skerry, Richard Giovino, Michael Wyche, Michele Bordieri, Donald McCarthy, Raymond McDonald. and Richard Trotta who teaches audio/visual at the high school.
When I filed a public records request (Freedom of Information Act) to Mr. Trotta, he ignored it. So I went to the Secretary of State's office. While I was editing a tv show I got a call on my
phone...it was the Sec. of State's office: Mr. Trotta RESIGNED from the cable TV commission rather than respond to my Public Records Request.
Can you say RED FLAG!

WHEN A CERTAIN 501C3 WAS REPORTED TO BOB SKERRY HE DISMISSED IT AS:
"NOT THAT KIND OF FRAUD"

Bob - step down - we need proactive people on the school committee.
