Tufts Pool (Kiddie Pool) Closed for Repairs 7/20-7/23 by Jackie Piques ALERT: Tufts Outdoor Swimming Pool (Kiddie Pool) Overnight on Monday, July 19th, a piece of concrete broke off by the drains of the Wading Pool (Kiddie Pool). The crack is very sharp and deep, making it unsafe for children to walk back and forth across the pool. For the safety of all patrons, the Wading pool will be closed beginning Tuesday, July 20th for immediate repairs. The Recreation Department together with the Department of Public Works will be draining the Wading Pool and patching the concrete appropriately. After the work is completed, the Wading Pool will be refilled. The Wading Pool is estimated to reopen on Friday, July 23rd. The Main Pool will remain open through repairs.
