Negative Impacts to Medford Citizens

1. Maligning Medford’s reputation and character

2. Reduced police force

3. Increased emergency response times

4. Crime level impacts

5. Increased early police officer retirements (this is already happening)

6. Prop 2 1⁄2 overrides and significant real estate tax increases

7. CRT and race-based training to our children (teachers and administration already trained)

8. Creating division among the residents where none existed before

Our Revolution claims positive sounding slogans, which are based on false premises portraying Medford as negative and a terrible place to live in its current state. You hear eliminate racism in the schools, being inclusive to all or being welcoming to all. Ask them to give you real examples of these implied problems.

Their arguments are empty. An example, you will hear these candidates talk about affordable housing, but they are also promoting Prop 2 1⁄2 overrides. How do increased taxes help affordability?

Our Revolution is intentionally creating division in Medford and then using it to pit groups against one another. Do not be misled, their agenda will negatively impact all Medford citizens. Whether you have been here your entire life, recently moved into the city, young, old, any type of family or background this is important to you. Read the negative impacts above over again and think personally about what it would mean to you, your family, your finances, your children, your safety, and the reasons you enjoy living in Medford. Our Revolution created a major division in the city over renaming the Columbus School. The flawed process was forced through during the active COVID period with a disregard for other community input.
