Memories from the Hospital, Part 1

I'm the only patient who walks the halls at night like a ghost.

I fall asleep in chairs in the hall.

They are used to me.

I say something to a staffer and it scares her 2 am.

She yells "Jesus Christ".

I say *You call me, my daughter?".

She laughs.

Hospital - the Modern Lovers / Out of the Closet on the heart attack

Hospital - the Modern Lovers / Out of the Closet on the heart attack https://youtu.be/5D_nRtlkqCM If Kathei and the Group doesn't mind, I have a two-parter on how Jonathan Richman's voice has haunted me all week, for the past 7 days.

Or you can delete if you like. https://joeviglione.substack.com/.../when-you-get-out-of...

Let's get the tough stuff out of the way, yes, I had at least one, maybe more, heart attack(s).

 https://joeviglione.substack.com/p/when-you-get-out-of-the-hospital?fbclid=IwY2xjawKh0J1leHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFvMXg4SGVKY0dibEViMmxmAR7L3a-IJIGfrwo_GMvgajsb1-IwCa3O8B7wbB7_eXAWQd12UKJxYxVSFjQAEw_aem_SNXF0fJGUPhkf9-fm6ZmYQ

Went to Melrose Wakefield hospital (part of Tufts Medical.) They said I was too ill for them and sent me via ambulance to their Boston hospital in Chinatown. The intriguing thing is that Jonathan Richman's "Hospital" was stuck in my head every friggin' day. Even though Richman brings up Hospital about twice in the song, my God it is so powerful. Checked in Tuesday May 20, 2025, my PCA (Personal Care Assistant) / Best Friend / Significant Other in Texas of all places, leaving his job and getting another job because he was hospitalized April 4 2025. I pick him up from the hospital and cannot walk to the car. Clue #1. He drives. But I'm having problems walking to the car, almost 2 months ago. Water started piling up in my body, the heart not pumping (I didn't know) Significant other's father, with my name, is praying for me. Two days later he goes to the hospital and my friend is dealing with his dad (different matter) and his best friend having these issues. His company has a letter from the hospital about me, and a verbal memo from me, so that they know it is serious and not us wanting to go on vacation. Please, friends, you do not have to wish me well, only telling the story. Richman's voice is buzzing around in my brain (Rather than NY Dolls/Bo Diddley's Pills) ...well I check myself out today, it was endless noise in there. Fell asleep on the couch. A good friend is coming over to help me get my car at the other hospital in Melrose. Finally got some sleep that a damn hospital could not afford me, and I'm back with our kitty kat, who was freaking out without us. Well, she's purring away with daddy home. And yes, Jonathan, I got out of the Hospital, on my terms. We got rid of 28.5 pounds of water, out of my body. The hospital was good for that, but I couldn't sleep there. Home, sleeping, with kitty here taking care of me. End Part 1

View Out my Hospital Window, Dr. told me I had a great view.
Rather be home with kitty

Medford Launches New Retail Pop-Up Incubator Program

The City is partnering with business consulting company UpNext to bring a retail pop-up to Medford Square

Eligible Medford businesses are encouraged to apply

(MEDFORD) — The City of Medford’s Economic Development Department, in collaboration with business consulting company UpNext, is launching a new program to support local entrepreneurs by providing access to retail space to test their business ventures and strengthen the City’s vibrant retail district.

The initiative, called Project: Pop-Up Medford, will offer a temporary storefront at 68 High Street in Medford Square, giving business owners the chance to pilot their products in a brick-and-mortar setting. The pop-up retail shop will run from May through July 15, 2025. Selected entrepreneurs will have access to a rent-free space and business development resources aimed at helping them succeed in a retail environment.

Through its U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant funds, the City of Medford will provide the commercial space easing the financial burden of launching a temporary storefront.

The City welcomes applications from Medford residents who operate a microenterprise, a business with fewer than five employees, and have a household income of 80% or less of the area median income. Ideal candidates are motivated entrepreneurs, artists, crafters, and makers who can take advantage of this limited time opportunity. For more details program eligibility, please visit our program webpage.

Interested applicants should visit UpNext’s webpage to learn more and apply. Selected applicants will be required to submit documentation to verify eligibility for the program. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but, for full benefit of the program, applications submitted and verified before May 15th will have access to the full lease at the storefront.

The City of Medford’s Office of Planning, Sustainability, and Development is available to answer any questions potential applicants may have. Please contact Kayla Myros, Economic Development Planner, at kmyros@medford-ma.gov or 781-393-2480.

This program is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) CDBG program. All grants under this program are subject to the availability of CDBG funding from HUD and the continued eligibility of the City to receive such funds.

And Medford replaced a criminal city council with....Zac Bears and Justin Tseng and Kit Collins? In what reality

Notice I didn't say allegedly criminal city council? With dumb dumb Rick Caraviello allegedly lying under oath in court, Michael Marks committing Witness Intimidation and not getting charged, and fat old Ed Finn slugging a homosexual who accused him of gay discrimination, well, all bets are off on that one.

Editorial, by Joe Viglione.

So what we have in America, and in the world, is a convicted felon stealing from all Americans, while Joe Biden had given us infrastructure that Trump couldn't deliver, and a strong stock market. What the hell is wrong with delusional Trump voters? You have a police officer, not protecting and serving, but fake arresting some promiscuous woman dressed like Hillary Clinton,

using his badge for a political joke, with a woman who slept with every police officer she could get her hands on, and filing a restraining order on Officer Jimmy Lee when he whacked her in the mouth resulting in grisly stitches. I have the photos from the hospital. Then the "Hillary Clinton" lookalike gets arrested near the home of Jimmy Lee (only after the police, allegedly, see she is far enough away from the house) ...and how much money did the restraining order and arrest cost the Medford taxpayers because selfish Officer Lee decided to cheat on his wife and kids???

Read this: “Today’s terrible consumer confidence number is further evidence of the Trump Slump and anyone that believes the chaos and ensuing crisis of Trump’s tariff flip flop is behind us is sadly mistaken,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Friday. “When Americans see the chaos caused by Donald Trump’s tax cut for ultra-wealthy and at least $4,700 a year in higher costs for every person, it’s no wonder consumer confidence is in the dumps.” https://www.huffpost.com/entry/consumer-confidence-trump-tariffs_n_67f9389ce4b0f27aea9f25cf So crazed love affairs on the police force, and an officer using his uniform for a political stunt, sheesh. The ex police chief gets married to a woman allegedly stalking him, driving up and down the streets, it is alleged, before the wedding "Looking for Leo" (title of my new song) who was: a)allegedly at the fake Hillary's house having dinner b)allegedly bailing his MBTA son off of the road before he could take a breathalyzer c)allegedly getting his other son off Fulton St, allegedly, the firefighters, not the police, taking care of the alleged situation, d)paying HIS fine to the ethics commission. No allegedly necessary. One thing was for damn sure, Leo was NFG and the taxpayers got clobbered. Makes the L'Italien report read like Nancy Drew File under: Cradock Bridge was like playing checkers compared to all the other malfeasance. What kind of NARC goes up to the city council revealing himself worse than Steven Lebert? And Medford replaced a criminal city council with....Zac Bears and Justin Tseng and Kit Collins? In what reality

Paul Camuso, Paul Toner, Anthony DiPierro and ex Boston City councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson the female Alfred E. Neuman from Mad Magazine

Follow me on Substack for more lurid tales, and record reviews!!!!

They should start an Unlaw Firm, Camuso, DiPierro, Anderson and Toner , LLC,
Lamebrain Corruption Inc. Camuso complained to my editor at the Transcript
that I put his upside down face next to an image of Jabbah the Hut!
But tell me that didn’t inspire the jerk to get his stomach stapled! after he tried
to run me down in the city hall parking lot.  Aunt Carol must be so proud!
Allegedly, Paul tried to attack his grandma with a butcher knife, allegedly.
And here you thought grandma got run over by a reindeer.
That wasn't grandma, Paul, that was me!!!!

It’s not that prostitution is a bad thing for people with low self image.
Even Paul Toner’s mirror reflection was running and hiding from him.
Tania Fernandes Anderson the female Alfred E. Neuman from Mad Magazine with her crooked hands in the cookie jar,
“What? Me worry!!!” - and ugly as sin Paul Toner cannot communicate with his fellow human beings,
Don Juan Toner is not, so he has to pay for it. Ha Ha. Fine,
if he wasn’t a public servant. I say legalize prostitution to keep the sex maniacs and rapists
off of the street. But don’t run for public office and channel that old and tired sex fiend, Donald J. Trump. It is so unbecoming.
What Was Paul Toner of the Cambridge City Council Thinking Paying for Sex

Anthony DiPierro and Paul Toner need to take the hint from Tania Fernandes Anderson.
Time to quit.

If Michael J. McGlynn was convicted of 34 felonies would Medford give him a vote?

If Michael J. McGlynn was convicted of 34 felonies would Medford give him a vote? McGlynn couldn't get Stephanie Muccini Loser elected a 2nd time, John Falco was down for the count and out to lunch, and McGlynn ran from that obnoxious alleged perjurer/fraud Richard F Caraviello. Trump took Joe Biden's fantastic stock market and his concern for the American people, and now you are all facing taxes like you've never seen before. Trump the felon is taking his revenge for his crimes out, on you. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/04/02/stock-market-today-live-updates-trump-tariffs.html Al Capone, a gangster, wasn't this stupid: k futures cratered Thursday after President Donald Trump unveiled sweeping tariffs of at least 10% and even higher for some countries, raising the risks of a global trade war that hits the already sputtering U.S. economy.

Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average

lost 1,064 points, or 2.5%. S&P 500 futures dropped 3.1%, while Nasdaq-100 futures lost 3.4%.

Mayor Lungo-Koehn Delivers Final Compromised Version of City Charter to City Council

Tue, Apr 1 at 1:07 PM

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 1, 2025

Contact: Steve Smirti, Communications Director (ssmirti@medford-ma.gov), 781-393-2529

Mayor Lungo-Koehn Delivers

Final Compromised Version of City Charter to City Council

Detailed compromised version upholds Charter Study Committee’s ward representation recommendation and removes the Mayor as Chair of the School Committee

Mayor urges Council to unanimously approve at its April 8 regular meeting

(MEDFORD)—After reviewing all of the City Council’s edits, the final version of the City’s long anticipated City Charter has been delivered back to the City Council for a final vote at the April 8 regular meeting before being sent to the legislature in hopes of appearing on the ballot for voter approval in November, Mayor Lungo-Koehn announced.

This final compromised version upholds the survey results and the recommendation from the Charter Study Committee of increasing the number of City Councilors to 11 with 8 councilors being elected by each ward and the remaining 3 members being councilors-at-large who shall be nominated and elected by and from the voters at large.

Two years ago, the Mayor formed a Charter Study Committee to comprehensively study the City’s current charter, gather input from the community, and propose recommendations on changes to the existing document, which had not been reviewed or updated in over 40 years. The members of the committee have been working in collaboration with the Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management at UMass Boston to develop a governing document that reflects the current needs of the City, offers comprehensive policy solutions, and ensures that all members of the community are fairly and accurately represented.

“I feel this is an extremely strong document that reflects the needs of our community, solidifies the survey results and the recommendations that the Charter Study Committee has heard through over a year and a half of community meetings and the public survey,” Mayor Lungo-Koehn said. “I am so incredibly proud of all of the hard work our diverse Charter Study Committee has done to listen to the people. The help from the Collins Center, edits from the City Council and this final draft has all led to a Charter that is truly emblematic of our City’s values. This final draft makes concessions, and it is not a perfect representation for all members of our community, but the Collins Center believes that as long as this version receives support at the City Council, it will be approved by the State Legislature and appear on the ballot in November. Thank you to the Council for considering this draft and we hope for a positive outcome.”

The Council recommended removing the position of Mayor as chair of the School Committee. Mayor Lungo-Koehn agreed to that change as long as ward representation remains as the Committee intended.

“The Charter Study Group, which I was the liaison to, was one of the most diverse committees that I have been involved with,” Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Frances Nwajei said. “This was demonstrated by the members who brought their diversity of thought, political, educational, socio economical, age, disability, and occupational perspectives. All public outreach materials were translated into our 6 environmental justice languages to get a broad cross section of our community’s needs. The best part was that the public survey received over 650 responses.”

"The Collins Center is honored to have assisted the Mayor, City Council, and the citizen-led Charter Review Committee in their efforts to enhance the city charter for the benefit of Medford residents," said Anthony I. Wilson, Esq., Practice Area Lead for Charters and Organizational Structure.

You can find more information including the revised compromised charter delivered to the City Council at medfordma.org/charter.

The April 8th City Council Meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Alden Memorial Chambers and be available on Medford Community and via zoom. Zoom information and the meeting agenda will be available at medfordma.org/events

No Truth at the Ruth: Don Feder Still Sxxxks

The Ruth Institute is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
4845 Lake Street, Ste 217 Lake Charles, LA 70605
(760) 295-9278 info@ruthinstitute.org
Anyone remember Don Feder, ex of the Boston Herald?
If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it....

Admitted to the practice of law?  Guess it calls for a letter to
the Board of Bar Overseers!  HA ...in Mass and whatever it is
called in New York.

If you thought the Ruth Institute was named after
comedienne Ruth Buzzy, you are in for a surprise.

The writings feel like MAGA central!  Allegedly, to
be a member, one has to have 34 felony convictions, Donald.

Don Feder writes a review of Snow Woke!  Oh, Please!
We're certain that the movie sucks, Disney has lost its touch.
But to make it political - Don Fedup - is just nasty and wrong.

Look, the new Suits L.A. is absolutely horrifying, bad acting,
terrible scripting, and a director or directors obviously at the
coffee shop and not doing their job!  But why bring felon Trump
and his stupidity into it.   Elon bought the con man the presidency,
no doubt about that, and everyone feels it.  Kamala had standing
room only, Trump was delusional, old, tired and crowds leaving
early.

Reading Don Feder is like going through trashed scripts for the Munsters and the Addams Family.   But we can thank God that Feder isn't disgracing the pages of the subscriber-losing Boston Herald

Get thee hence, Satan

Don Feder is a graduate of Boston University College of Liberal Arts and BU Law School. He’s admitted to the practice of law in New York and Massachusetts. For 19 years, he was an editorialist and staff columnist for the Boston Herald, New England’s second largest newspaper. During those years, the Herald published over 2,000 of his columns. Mr. Feder is currently a consultant and Coalitions Director of the Ruth Institute.

The Ruth Institute is a global interfaith coalition equipping Christians to defend the family and build a civilization of love.

Founded by world-renowned author, speaker and academic Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, the Ruth Institute provides decades of research to support individuals and families harmed by divorce, the hook-up culture, and other forms of family breakdown.

The Ruth Institute has a Dream that all children be welcomed into life in a loving home with their own mother and father, married to each other.

We believe that:

  • All people have the right to know their cultural heritage and genetic identity.
  • Every child has a right to a relationship with his or her natural mother and father except for an unavoidable tragedy.
