The City Council voted to select Adam Hurtubise for the job after interviewing him and two other finalists – Amy Akell and Sean J. Fitzgerald – for a second time at the Council’s Aug. 1 Committee of the Whole.
The vote is not official until the councilors vote it out of committee at their next regular meeting on Aug. 14. The city must also negotiate Hurtubise’s salary and the details of his contract.
