Town to take over public access television
Refusing to air content, which Chris Whelan said at Town Meeting was not the town’s intention, would be illegal under Federal Communications Commission regulations unless the content was obscene.
Mark Rumley and Mayor Burke refuse to air content, they drag their feet and make up lies to keep candidates off the air. Then, "in flux," they keep changing their stories to steal the First Amendment from the cable TV subscribers that Rumley and Burke RAPE with impunity.
They are raping us of our free speech and franchise fee. There is no other way to put it.
Rumley and Muccini-Burke are rapists of the extreme order when it comes to freedom of the press. They loathe it.

Back to Concord:
A potential town government takeover of the programming was the subject of a Town Meeting warrant article in April. The article, which passed, was interpreted as a statement against the intention of the town to take over the station. The article’s sponsors expressed concerns that the committee would not have enough independence or authority to guarantee the freedom of the press.
