Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request re: Fire Truck/ladder, Gift Wrapping Allegedly by DPW
Dear Atty Scanlon and/or Keeper of the Records
This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:
1)The time cards for each employee of the Medford Fire Department and any other city employee engaged in using the ladder truck to put up Christmas decorations on Medford City Hall on or about November 18, 2017
(See Joe Viglione photo 11-18-17 attached)
2)The time cards for each employee of the Medford Fire Dept. and any other city workers for the controversial 4 hour or so use of the ladder truck as noted on Fox 25 news on or about November 30, 2018

3)The time cards for any DPW workers wrapping gifts for the city on or about December 3, 4, and 5th, 2018
4)Costs of the use of the ladder truck for both 2017 and 2017 as well as the payments for labor of the city workers engaged in allegedly wrapping presents at Medford City Hall or anywhere else in Medford
5)Documents providing the moving and storage of Christmas decorations that used to be at city hall and are purportedly at Hormel Stadium
I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request, however, as a respected member of the press maliciously attacked by Medford City Hall, I request those costs be waived as this story is of great public interest
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.
Sincerely,
Joe Viglione
