JOE V WRITES:
The McGlynn School. Allegations that Jack McGlynn had an $80,000.00 a year NO SHOW JOB at the Sheriff's Office under DiPaola according to a CANDIDATE FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL George Sacco - cousin of former Chief Sacco - at the Medford City Council, on record for all to hear. Mr. Sacco said the job was for 3 years, I Believe; Heard a rumor/allegation that it was for 8 years. How much did cost to change the name of the school to a living person (at the time) who was alleged to have engaged in conduct that allegedly harmed Medford's finances! and that of the Sheriff's office. A WRKO radio host called the late Dipaola "the crooked sheriff."
JESSICA WRITES:
I maybe wrong but if you look into John Brooks whom the Brooks School was named after I believe he had a hand in slavery. I could be wrong but I believe that is correct. Why no outcry on the Brooks School name?
FORMER MAYORAL CANDIDATE
DAVID MCKILLOP RESPONDS TO
BOB PENTA'S ARTICLE
Bob this is a non issue in the minds of average people who work hard everyday , who want there children in school with there friends learning . The powers that be are missing the mark in every way . I hope the current administration sees the light and shifts the energy being spent on this , which in my mind, is a community splitter . The people of Medford do not need to fall into the National talking points trap , instead we should lock hands and fight fervently against this wave and force them to focus on our children . Thank you for leading the charge .
