Due to forecasts of high temperatures over the next several days, cooling centers will be open at multiple locations from Monday, June 28th through at least Wednesday, June 30th. Cooling centers will be open for all residents, and will offer air conditioning and water for those in need.
Cooling center locations:
- City Council Chambers at City Hall, 85 George P. Hassett Drive, 8:30am – 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 8:30am – 7:30pm on Wednesday.
- Senior Center, 101 Riverside Ave, 9am – 6pm
- Engine 5 Fire Station Community Room, 0 Medford Street, 9am – 6pm
- West Medford Community Center, 111 Arlington Street, 9am – 6pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 9:30am – 6pm on Wednesday.
- On Wednesday, the Police Department Community Room, 100 Main Street, will be open from 9am – 6pm
