“EXTORTION PLOT” OR “INNOCENT VICTIM”
Worcester Mass.- Anybody who stays up to date on the news in Everett knows there are a lot of moving parts lately. Resignations, school walkouts, protests, sexual harassment allegations, and the revitalization of a lawsuit on the highly questionable casino land deal.
Since we did not see it in any line items in the budget, we’re figuring Demas added it to the budget under legal negotiations.
Shrewd.
It looks like a lot of these stories will be making their way out of city hall now that the plan to attack any non-loyal city employee to DeMaria has commenced. The Architect of the latest plan is Chief of Staff Erin Deveney, the mastermind behind the “If You Leak That Tape You're Going To Jail” plan.
One question we are eagerly awaiting the answer to is, how is Kathy Draine going to explain Erin Deveney’s involvement with the racist tapes?
That is not a typo, “tapes” is plural for a reason.
Hopefully the city council wakes up and realizes that Mayor Carlo DeMaria’s effort to push through the Fiscal Year 2023 budget was being done before the public see’s what they are paying for.
