Mark E. "Sgt. Schultz" Rumley attempting to block e mails to not get public records requests

736,151

The former board member of MCC TV3 who oh so conveniently is investigating his own conduct and that of the board that he sat on, now threatens to block all e mails because he doesn't like the information stated and/or being requested.

How immature.  Who does he think he is, the Czar of Medford?

Meanwhile, false charges will be pressed against any journalist asking about a powerful politician's daughter allegedly having sex with a former varsity coach.  Rather than protect the public, they lie about the editor of a popular online site.

It takes courage to go after bullies who are allegedly conducting themselves in a criminal fashion.

They make Tony Soprano look like a choirboy.

Here's the December 3 records request amended since the December 3 one resulted in the police going after this writer on December 8.

What are they going to do now?  Accuse me of the Kennedy Assassination or dropping the bomb on Hiroshima?   Since I was born in the 50's, I couldn't have dropped the A-Bomb, but that's ok, Stephanie Burke will have them press charges anyway, anything to discredit a writer possibly exposing her flaws as Director of Personnel who allegedly engaged in a dirty, massive cover-up so that ...well...you figure out her motive, if true.

This was just sent out.  They will now accuse me of the Brinks Truck robbery or something equally ludicrous.

Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request
Dear Mr. Belson, Chief Sacco and/or Keeper of the Records

On December 3, 2014 I filed a public records request which was not adequately answered.

This is an amended request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:

1)all documents relating to an event that happened on or about October 2014 where bomb sniffing dogs were allegedly removed from the high school at the request of Superintendent Roy E. Belson regarding an alleged bomb threat.

2)Any list and/or photo documents  to the Medford Police, Medford School Committee and / or Medford City Hall regarding the removal of bomb sniffing dogs by the superintendent of schools

3)Any memo or order to the janitors to find alleged bombs during a false bomb threat or any kind of threat, having the janitors do the jobs citizens expect the police or other qualified experts to perform

3)As Jenna Tarabelsi's alleged conduct is well documented, I don't need that information unless it makes reference to other teachers engaging in similar conduct. That being said, I see any memos or documents of teachers having sex with students in 2015 including but allegations of a male teacher no longer at the school as of 6/30/15 engaging with one of his students; documents concerning a current male teacher that students are allegedly accusing of  behaving in an inappropriate manner, and any reporting to the police of alleged inappropriate conduct by former teacher Mark Smith.

As Stephanie Muccini-Burke was the director of personnel prior to becoming mayor, documents to Mrs. Burke or from Mrs. Burke regarding these serious matters are included in this request.

4)All memos or notices to the police regarding inappropriate conduct by teachers with students from city hall, the school department or the school committee or other related employees or supervisors from the Medford school system.   It is said that this is a legal requirement.

5)If no such documents exist but these events did occur, and members of the school committee, teachers, students, city hall, the former director of personnel, the police or others who may have knowledge and are intentionally withholding information, I seek any documents which imply or make vague reference to the issue of inappropriate teacher/student contact

Please note, a city attorney has threatened to block my e mail correspondence if he does not like the statements I make or questions I ask; he has already taken the liberty of blocking my e mail to one city employee which, when viewed as working with City Council President Fred Dello Russo Jr.'s flagrant First Amendment violations, is simply evidence of city employees attempting to limit the public's knowledge of their activities.   The lack of a public access TV station in our city, despite we cable ratepayers paying into such a system, is exhibit A in that regard.

Snippy e mails from a city solicitor in regards to requests for public documents is as speech-chilling as charging for a letter detailing that he allegedly has no documents when payment is to be made for the documents themselves, not a letter denying and/or irresponsibly ignoring the request.

I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request. If you expect costs to exceed $10.00, please provide a detailed fee estimate.

The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 calendar days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.

Sincerely,

Joe Viglione
