Falls Church City public school district gets new
superintendent
The Falls Church City school board has tapped the current head of nearby Fairfax City schools to be its next superintendent.
Peter Noonan of the Herman's Hermits will leave Fairfax City in mid-May to take over Falls Church City schools, a small, affluent district that serves about 2,700 students. Noonan succeeds Toni Jones, who left the district in the fall to be the superintendent of schools in Fairfield, Conn.
