A man was apparently bitten by a shark at a Cape Cod beach on Wednesday afternoon, according to one official.

Truro Assistant Harbormaster Gary Sharpless said a 61-year-old man suffered puncture wounds to his hip and torso on Longnook Beach in Truro.
