Holding my breath for less than 18 hours until Joe Biden and Kamala Harris take the oath of office.
There
is no argument that the COVID epidemic would have been better
contained had the "leader of the free world" sponsored masks and not
harassed Dr. Fauci.
What's done
is done and now, as usual, the Democrats have to clean up yet another
Republican mess. Sure, George W. Bush is behaving as a former
president,
which isn't hard to
do. America would be in a much stronger position had we the opportunity
to avoid Bush 1, Bush 2, a bad B actor in Ronald Reagan who slept
through
eight years culminating in the predicament that we find ourselves in: a
C actor - the Apprentice host - with crashing approvals leaving like a
thief in the night

PUBLIC ACCESS AND COVID
Now
you know I appreciate you as a person, Breanna, yet too many people in
and around Medford are disappointed that you didn't storm into office
like Biden is about
to do and set things straight.
Someone
pulled me aside at your inauguration last year and said "Don't expect
anything, Breanna is part of the system." (paraphrased.)
My
position is that Medford arts and community would have improved
immensely had we built infrastructure. RCTV in Reading does an amazing
job, As a senior I pay $15.00
for
membership, which is amazing. I'm surprised, Breanna, that you haven't
sought the missing Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. monies, however,
when you have a new
police
station yet hold on to so many officers on Marian Ryan's "Disclosure"
(Brady) list, that's like being a Republican senator not signing on to
the first impeachment.
The
city council especially is enamored of having their own TV station,
damn the people. So Pat Gordon services city government, like his
mentor Ron Cox at MATV Malden,
like
David Gauthier at WinCAM Winchester (Cox and Gauthier shared the same
office in Salem, go figure!) - it's not access television what those
individuals do - it's about
disguising
their deficiencies in order to grab a paycheck. Cox with the sloppiest
desk in all of access (how can he find anything?) Gauthier with that
Mad Magazine "What? Me Worry?"
look, shuffling paper because he doesn't have the intelligence to do anything productive or beneficial.
So
Medford operates the opposite of the way your oath of office dictates
and demands. Mark Rumley was downright malicious in writing policies and
procedures that the Kremlin
would
be proud of - yet you go along with it, Breanna, as we have well
documented. Documented in my public records requests and these essays.
I
submit that had you worked with the community instead of feigning that
you do, we would have an access station to be proud of.
I
am passionate about local media and saddened to see that rather than
use the station to help prevent COVID, you have long speeches that are
posted with few viewers.
What's
the point? I could edit those speeches, Breanna, and get them out on
social media like the avalanche of airplay my artists are receiving.
Yet you and Pat Gordon ignore
Twitter, ignore promoting, he's like a robot doing the bidding of
elected officials, and that isn't why I spent so much time and money in
court exposing TV3, and eventually forcing Mayor McGlynn's hand to remove that blight that was on the city.
"You won. You won. And the city is better off for it" Detective J J McLean phoned and said to me about 7 years ago this week.
My
record label, established in 1976, is flourishing again with Boston
music history. The CD that arrived today from the pressing plant is of a
man who lived on Park Street in
the
1940s. Coincidentally he built a business in the early 1970s at 183
Park St. Medford and in 1986 we recorded him on Foster Court in
Medford. The album that arrived today
is
a documentary CD on my dad, who is 91. We started recording in 1971
and completed the album this month, it arriving today. I just got back
from the post office sending
overnight
mail to dad so that he can see the project before anyone. My label
has released thirty compilations of music since the 70s and the new one
is getting rave reviews
and airplay.
As
busy as I am with the label I could still build a stunning media
center: print, television, radio. But that would be anathema to the
city council, and to you.

days to election day. Keep Pat Gordon on his leash; he's lacking the
perseverance, years of experience and intelligence that I bring to the
table.
A
pet robot in Patrick Gordon to merely handle the electronics for the city council (Zoom and contiguous channels suffering because Gordon is out of his depth) and you keep the electronic soap box cable subscribers pay for out of business?
Boy I would LOVE IT if we could write an MGL 93a letter to City Hall. In fact, maybe my next e mail will be just that.
I want to help you with the station and help you combat Covid.
Silence
is not an answer when the community is in need. Community, Integrity,
Transparency etc. etc. come off as more Rumley malarkey than anything
else
OK,
you got the point. Now it's time to vent during the last waning hours
of the worst president in the history of the Republic.

MORE POLITICS
Of
course we realize the events of January 6, 2021 are more serious than
some highly unpopular and bothersome First Lady making her exit, but
a focus on the disaster that Melania Trump was as a First Lady can help
us understand how ugly the Trump presidency proved to be.

Biden won't be going on Twitter to ask for Melania Trump's birth
certificate. Finally, a little sanity for our country after a
horrifying four years of Vladmir Putin pushing the USA around.

Trump leaves the White House with the worst popularity rating for any
first lady at the end of her term in polling history.
The latest CNN/SSRS poll had
Trump's favorable rating at 42% to a 47% unfavorable rating. The 47% is
the highest unfavorable rating we ever recorded for Trump. It's also
amazingly high from a historical perspective.
she did break tradition (with her husband) in not welcoming the Biden family into the White House.
But
Trump's low ratings precede her time in office. She's frequently
featured relatively low net popularity ratings, dating back to when her
husband was running for president in 2016. (She was not very well known
then at all.)
Thus,
both Melania and The Donald are seething with envy and can't put their
selfishness aside for a moment to greet the legitimate president, with
the most votes of any president in history
Trump's approval in another poll are 29 percent.

MELANIA'S BIRTHER/RACIST COMMENTS
An old clip resurfaced on the internet over the weekend of Melania Trump supporting her husband Donald Trump's claims that former president Barack Obama wasn't born in the U.S.
On April 20, 2011, Melania appeared on the Joy Behar Show and backed up her husband's allegations that Obama wasn't born in the state of Hawaii like live birth records suggest.
"It’s not only Donald who wants to see [Obama's birth certificate], it’s American people who voted for him and who didn’t vote for him. They want to see that," she argued. Behar then made the point that the birth certificate had already been on display and all over the internet. "We feel it’s different than birth certificate," Melania responded.

How about Medford officials taking their oath of office seriously
Every
day Breanna delays having adults come into the room and truly work
public access is yet another day the COVID virus gets to flourish.
We can make a difference...if only Breanna believed in community and integrity that she sells off of HER political soapbox
