119 days to election day

Brady/Giglio obligations have serious ramifications for cops and prosecutors.
Because prosecutors have an affirmative duty to seek out exculpatory evidence, law enforcement has a duty to collect it and turn it over to the prosecutor.

Possible consequences for violating these duties can include:

  • A continuance of the case;
  • Dismissal of the case;
  • Reversal of a conviction;
  • Findings of contempt by the court against prosecutors or police;
  • Imposition of costs incurred by the defense;
  • Civil liability for officers and their agencies under federal civil rights claims;
  • Prosecutors may face disciplinary action or disbarment;

What do the candidates for mayor have to say about the unprofessional and highly questionable practices of this deficient Medford police force?

A police officer phoned me a week ago complaining about the John Falco / Count Orlok photo that I posted, saying that my newsletter is "too negative."
For a guy who's supposed to protect and serve watching Mr. Falco go off the reservation, abusing his elected position to campaign for mayor while
attacking the incumbent FROM the seat of power, one must truly ponder the lunacy.

Call the reporter and yell, enabling Falco's dereliction of duty.

Don't expect Caraviello to do the right thing.

How convenient that the City Council will scream from the rooftops that they have no jurisdiction over TV3, no jurisdiction over the Columbus School name change,
oh, but suddenly Mark Rumley's vendetta because he's "of counsel" in Malden but not Medford IS a priority, while being clearly out of the council's jurisdiction?

Novice Zac Bears wants $30,000.00 of YOUR MONEY to investigate, while he has zero jurisdiction, and convicted felon Paul Ruseau wants $15,000 or so of YOUR MONEY
along with Jenny Graham and Melanie McLaughlin is it???  spendthrifts all, kicking the late Christopher Columbus.  News flash to "Their" Revolution: Medford, Columbus
don't give a damn what you do with his name, you're simply cheating the school kids who could use those monies for supplies.

The police should be "following the money" and arresting Bears, McLaughlin, Graham, Caraviello, Falco "for stupdity" - to quote Tommy Lee Jones in Double Jeopardy.

Then again, had the police department "one scintilla of honesty" to paraphrase flowery Rumley's linguistic gymnastics, they'd all be arresting each other,
starting with Chief Jack Buckley himself.

The news site is a reflection of Medford.  When Chief Buckley and his crew have the most Brady-infested force in all of Middlesex County,
and a police officer is complaining about ...wow...actual news reporting that the Patch and the Transcript refuse to do...it says more about
that cop than it does about the reporter.   I'm just a mirror...behave and you'll see more positive stories.

Translated: Rumley and McGlynn control all the media in this region except for me.

The media is asking if cops really understand their Brady obligations

If legislatures, courts and prosecutors can’t agree on what Brady requires, is it any wonder officers and police departments are uncertain?

Last year I was contacted by an investigative reporter for USA TODAY, Steve Reilly. In his initial email, he wrote,

“I’m working on a months-long investigation for USA TODAY regarding deficient Brady disclosure policies and procedures of many law enforcement agencies. Our investigation found thousands of names missing from Brady lists nationwide and deficient Brady disclosure policies which fall well short of IACP’s model policy.”

We talked on the phone. He was particularly interested in whether I thought officers across the country really understand their Brady obligations.  He said he would likely have a series in USA TODAY on Brady and law enforcement. I haven’t seen it yet, but if the media is investigating alleged “deficiencies” in this area, it behooves us to discuss the subject.

McGlynn, Rumley and Falco want to control Medford.   Like McGlynn and Rumley, John Falco is fracturing a few rules and doing what he damn well pleases.  That is wrong on so many levels.  Dishonest Rick Caraviello, Council President, has lied to the police and committed perjury in criminal court (Jan 31, 2017,) the same week or so that ex police chief Leo A. Sacco Jr's son, MBTA cop Joe Sacco, WASN'T given a breathalyzer and a field sobriety test, though they pulled him over for alleged drunk driving and it was on Channel Five.

Leo Sacco chose to go after me rather than Channel 5.

Mark Rumley chose to go after me instead of the bullies at TV3

These individuals, specifically Rumley and Sacco, are cowardly bullies. They abuse their authority and power to go after weaker, smaller people because in the real world they are ignorant and less intelligent than they give themselves credit for.

They are going after the current mayor, Breanna Lungo-Koehn, because they know she likes to ignore battles and just simply hope they will go away.

Well, Your Honor, they won't.     You have to fight these mean spirited creeps, put the mirror up to John Falco and show him that he is the evil Count Orolk from Nosferatu.

You've got a corrupt vice president of the city council and a corrupt president of the city council, with Falco, Scarpelli and Bears as the Three Stooges.  You have Circus Barker Michael Marks ripping at you for not letting him in to your office, and Nicole Morell doing her nails and whatever the Revolution Medford tells her to do.

It's supreme dysfunction.  You saw what I did to TV3 and Mackowski/Caraviello in a court of law.  And that was just me.

You're the mayor, for God's sake.   Start acting like it.    I'm on your side, but I'm not putting your rose colored glasses on and rolling over into the fetal position.

The advice I'm taking is, actually, from Rumley himself.

Rumley told me, in the endless TV3 wars "If you're in a fight, fight."

Despite my low opinion of Mark, and much to his chagrin, I did.

Don't delude yourself that you won the 2019 election without me publishing
the vulgar photo of Stephanie Muccini-Burke giving the finger to the firefighters.

You need to start taking me seriously.  Because McGlynn, Rumley and the rest of them certainly do!

Cheers!
