State Police PURPORTEDLY also were on the scene of VAULT/SALVATORE'S RESTAURANT

. August 31, 2023 was the last posting on the Vault Medford on Facebook. How odd, an active restaurant with no promotion about 11 days before an alleged stabbing?

Salvatore’s restaurant opened in October 2010 in Medford Square. It is located in the space formerly occupied by the infamous Depositors Trust Company bank; known for the heist of The Winter Hill Gang’s safe deposit boxes by Medford Police in 1980. The vault has been converted into a private dining room that accommodates up to 14 guests. The section where the actual break in occurred remains intact, however, and is spotlighted for all to see. The historic tale of the in-side robbery during a Memorial Day parade is told through newspaper articles and pictures that adorn the walls of the vault.  https://www.ureserv.com/rest/413

According to Medford Police Records Access Officer Eleanor Whalen sent to us at 4:42 pm on Sept 18, 2023, "There have been 6 security alarm calls in July, August and September. One alarm was from a broken window while the rest were false alarms. I have attached one report which was a disturbance call." According to another anonymous source Mon, Sep 18 at 8:39 PM "State Police also were on the scene. Check with the Medford Barracks." We're filing a public records request with the Medford office of the State Police.
