Dear Keeper of the Records:
This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G.
L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of
the following records:
---the CORI reports on all employees of ANY limousine services Medford High School might be using for proms and other events
---any
records and documents of Medford High School engaging with a limo
service, RC Limos, operated by the president of the Medford City
Council (Informative note: RC Limos may be a private entity, however,
with elected officials - say Donald Trump, for example - being in
positions of authority, we need to scrutinize their business ethics for
public safety reasons. We do not know if some bank robber or any other
dangerous individual is driving a student or students to some
destination. This is not a statement about RC Limos, which might be
pure as snow; this is a public records request as Mr. Caraviello is a
public figure and citizens may take it for granted that their safety is
assured when dealing with a public figure. As Mr. Caraviello recently
engaged in malicious prosecution to deny this resident First Amendment
rights - and as Mr. Caraviello lost the case in criminal court, as noted
in the local paper, Mr. Caraviello's ethics are now seriously in
question by his abuse of our court system to attempt to silence a
critic. This is simply a request to see that RC Limos, if it engages
with students, is on the up and up. As stated, perhaps the company is
pure as snow. If so, there should be no hassle in obtaining records of
the high school engaging with RC Limos or any other limo service. This
is also very important because a famous sex offender who recently died
was employed - allegedly - by a Boston limo company after he served his
prison sentence for rape. Given Medford High School's recent problems
with a guidance councilor, there is all the more reason for the
transparency that Superintendent Belson witnessed was denied the citizens
at the council meeting of 3/21/17. Free speech denied by the owner of
RC Limos himself, Rick Caraviello. Whenever there are free speech
violations, it is our obligation to dig deeper and find out if someone
engaging in censorship is hiding something. Thank you.)

written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my
request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in
writing.
