Did Muccini-Burke Ask People to Apply for Cable Advisory Board?

Enid Oklahoma seeks a member for the Public Access Television Advisory Board. Why did Mayor Burke not ask for qualified people to submit applications to be on the Medford board? That's simple, Mayor Burke wants an incompetent board to muck things up for citizens. No free speech rights.
Mayor Burke is not qualified to be "issuing authority," nor is she qualified to choose access television managers or board members. All three members of the Keystone Cops board have done nothing of substance since the first meeting in March. As of July 28, 2018, there is still no public access station and the monies for the "public" part of P/E/G have filtered into the high school, which should have its own monies. Residents are ripped off by Muccini-Burke's unethical, self-indulgent use of the access station for her own anti-public reasons: censorship. Mark Rumley's lack of scruples enables the mayor. It is just plain wrong.

There are vacancies on the Enid Joint Recreation Triad, ADA Access Board (a citizen with a disability), Historic Preservation Commission (must be a resident of Waverly Historic District) and Public Access Television Advisory Board.
Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. Aug. 1.
It is intended appointments will be made by the mayor and Enid City Commission during a meeting on Aug. 7. The commission may conduct interviews with applicants prior to making appointments.
Information and applications may be obtained in the city clerk's office at the city administration building, 401 W. Garriott, or by calling (580) 616-7275. Application forms also may be downloaded from the city’s website, www.enid.org.
