Dear Custodian of Records, Atty Scanlon and Madame Mayor:

Under the Massachusetts Public Records Act § 66-10 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of
public records that give great detail (if necessary, without naming the personnel involved)
regarding an allegation that a municipal worker pulled a knife on a fellow employee

1]Specific documents regarding an allegation of a restraining order on a municipal employee at the DPW,
and of an alleged incident where one of the employees pulled a knife on the other, allegedly.

2]All internal memos - which you may redact - between the DPW, the police, the union,
the mayor's office regarding this alleged incident  Texts, telephone records,
videotape of the incident, memos, emails, or any other document that exists not requested specifically in this e mail

   Again, the public under such a "transparent" mayor has a need to know the story;
the names are not as important unless the mayor wants to truly be transparent and alert the public to the alleged public safety hazard.

Were the allegation against a member of the public for such a serious alleged crime, we would have the name, wouldn't we?

When I ran for mayor I did not discuss transparency, Mayor Breanna Lungo Koehn did.  So here is her opportunity to be...transparent.

3]All court papers including the document which shows the courthouse in which the alleged restraining order was issued.
I don't want to hear that the case is "sealed" as the mayor ran on Transparency.

b)an actual copy of the alleged restraining order

4}Memos or e mails or documents from Brian Kerans, Mike Nestor and/or any individual at the DPW or at City Hall -
Farrah Keegan/Senior Clerk,  Steve Randazzo, Superintendent of Wires, etc. etc. etc. who may have documents
regarding the alleged incident including documents (texts, memos, e mails etc) not specifically referenced in this request.

5]Copies of any complaints over the entire time of the employment of the two individuals alleged to be part of the altercation...
any complaints, internal memos, e mails, telephone texts, etc.

Interesting that Police Chief John Buckley responded so quickly to a letter that wasn't even signed by a human being in regards to
Mobilize Medford.

Let's see if Chief Buckley can be as transparent as Mayor Lungo--Koehn thinks he should be.

Interesting how Medford jumps to mitigate perceived "threats" vis-a-vis Medford Revolution, Mobilize Medford,
but civil people who blog or post on Facebook are in great jeopardy for doing the right thing
in this supposed "transparent" administration.

The public has very great interest in knowing if there is violence between municipal workers and if the public is at risk.

Examples of Breanna Lungo Koehn's demands for Transparency under the Muccini-Burke administration

Example 1]WHDH Channel 7

Lungo-Koehn directly asked Belson at the meeting about an incident last Friday, when two fifth-graders allegedly threatened
to shoot up the school. Parents gasped in shock as Lungo-Koehn demanded Belson tell everyone about it.
Belson said nothing was found to make it dangerous but Medford Police Chief Leo Sacco said the threats are under investigation.

Belson again apologized at the meeting to the parents, saying he made a mistake and he accepts responsibility.

Example 2] Tufts Daily
It was this demonstrated lack of transparency under Burke’s administration that led Lungo-Koehn to enter the race in the first place.
In December of 2017, the cleaning staff of a Medford elementary school found a loaded gun magazine in the auditorium
and reported it to the school principal. According to the statement put forth by the Superintendent of Schools Roy Belson,
“McGylnn Middle School Principal Jake Edwards was in his office on December 30, 2017, for the purpose of cleaning his office
and he claims he threw several items away that could have included the clip.
Shortly thereafter, it was reported to myself as well as the School Resource Officer.”

Neither the police nor the school superintendent disclosed the incident to the public, not even to the parents of the school children.
In February 2018, Lungo-Koehn was informed of the ordeal by several school personnel afraid to come forward publicly
following the school’s cover-up. She immediately called the police to sweep the school.
“I was shaking, not only because of what was found, but the fact that it was found on [December] 28 and, from what I understand,
it was thrown away,” said Lungo-Koehn in an interview with Boston 25 News.

According to Lungo-Koehn, when the matter came
to light shortly thereafter, the Burke administration
attempted to downplay the issue.
