Medford Health Matters (MHM), Medford Conversations (MC), and Medford Human Rights Commission (MHRC) present
An Opening (Virtual) Roundtable of The Big Table/Medford Conversations
please choose one option:
Wednesday, March 10 (3:30 - 5:00 pm) or Saturday, March 13 (9:00-10:30 am)
With
the goal of facilitating and supporting a long-term, Medford-wide
movement to be antiracist through seasons of learning, action, and
policy change - MHM, MC, and MHRC invite you to join in this opening
roundtable designed to hear from the community. Your feedback will guide
the development of a 2021 Big Table/Medford Conversation series AND
provide feedback to the leadership of our city in preparation for a
March 24 Community Conversation with Medford's Mayor and City
Leadership.
You will have an opportunity to reflect in small groups on questions such as:
- What do you expect from the city in response to racism being identified as a public health crisis?
- What issues of injustice and inequity are you seeing locally?
- What would Medford look like (or feel like) if we were antiracist and had equitable policies?
- What do you need from the city and community on your own journey to antiracism in Medford?
AND
Please Save the Date for
A Community Conversation with Our City Leaders (including break out rooms for your input)
presented by Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn and the Human Rights Commission
Wednesday, March 24 (6:00 - 8:00 pm)
All Welcome
Watch for registration information on City of Medford Webpage
