Abigail Dickson Enters Race For Medford City Council Dickson, a lifelong Medford resident, is running to work for a "more equitable, affordable and livable city for all."

"I am proud to have been raised in such a thriving, historic neighborhood and community. I can throw myself into the hubbub of community activity - great restaurants, captivating arts, a super-duper farmers market - or immerse myself in the calming tree canopy of the Fells or river walks by the Mystic," Dickson said.

Dickson is the founder and artistic director of the youth theater company Youthquake Theater. In 2015, they gave a TEDx talk discussing their experiences founding and managing the company. Youthquake Theater has presented more than a dozen youth-led productions of Shakespeare plays, including this August's forthcoming "The Tempest."

Dickson's platform highlights affordable housing, youth engagement, climate action and
resiliency, LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, city services that promote equity and livability, and
charter review to make city government more inclusive and representative. Learn more at
