FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ALLEGATION OF MORAL TURPITUDE / CITY EMPLOYEE BEING RECONSIDERED

6 pm Committee of Whole prior to City Council meeting on Tuesday....

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Council Paper 21-398, the reappointment of the City Clerk.

1)Adam Hurtubise molested a petition submitted to him, re-wrote it completely so that negligent Richard F. Caraviello could fraudulently call the paper out of order.

It is currently pending at the office of the Attorney General as part of an Open Meeting Law complaint.

2)There are numerous complaints about the city clerk from residents.  Yet another was received yesterday at my P.O. box in Woburn, 6-10-21, what serendipity.

It is attached. REDACTED as it accuses a married employee of an affair with another married employee

This editor takes no responsibility for letters received from the public. They could be crackpots,
they could be legitimate.  Since a serious matter of alleged moral turpitude has been brought up,
and Tuesday is the discussion of reappointment, do we want another scandal with a convicted felon
on the Medford School Committee as vice chair and the VP of the City Council under police investigation?

This must be looked into, it is a serious matter.

3)Hurtubise was chief of staff at MBTA?  A corrupt organization in need of an exorcist.

4)His Twitter says "husband and dad."   If so, and if the clerk is (allegedly) having an affair with a "xxxxx xxxx," as has been alleged by multiple sources,
the moral turpitude clause would kick in, wouldn't it?

Mr. Hurtubise was advised when he molested the petition I submitted that there were rumors about his ethics. That was in May of 2021 which
I told him personally

Thus, Mr. Hurtubise should NOT be confirmed until a full investigation is initiated and concluded.

When the police made it public that previous clerk Ed Finn had committed a felony by filing false charges on a reporter claiming "witness intimidation" (no such charges, even though false, could be filed if Ed Finn, city clerk, had not committed felony assault on a senior; Finn also skipped out on a subpoena to criminal court) we see a pattern of corruption at Medford City Hall that needs to be addressed.  These are public safety concerns.

Public Records Request

Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request

Dear Keeper of the Records/Solicitor Scanlon:

This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:

1)a document or documents containing the city of Medford's policy regarding moral turpitude as it relates to city employees

2)texts and e mails between a city clerk and (XXXXX a certain alleged married woman at city hall) if any exist, hand-written notes at city hall, any documents between the two.
I will bring this to the attention of the Keeper of Records without publishing a name in this request.

3)any document where a city clerk explains how he can create his own petition for a petitioner without the petitioner's awareness or authorization

I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request, however, since the New York Times has quoted this author, as has the Boston Globe and many others, it is clear that my work is in the public interest, is of great public interest, and the fees should be waived.

The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.

Sincerely,

Joe Viglione
