April 22, 2022 ...Louis at the Boston Globe Badge #3427 ....a real jerk. 1)I couldn't access my account, 2)You call the phone # for subscriptions and you can't get in 3)I sent an e mail. 4)Tried live chat. Now why they (and the Boston Herald) do this stuff is to hopefully get to whack your credit card. The Herald told me they are trying a different system, I'll believe it when I see it. Louis was going on and on, when I had to interrupt him he got snippy that I wouldn't let him finish (???? it was nonsense) so then he gave me the silent treatment. So when I stopped the subscription I got his badge #, told him he's a jerk, and hung up on him. Being a person who posts positive thoughts and such, I don't like to do that, but when they are incorrigble and aren't respectful of people (especially elders) ya just gotta tell them how it is. Uggg. Now they'll connect with me and be nice as pie and offer a new subscription, and I'll probably take it, but not at the outrageous rates they try to grab from you if you're not on top of things. Told him that I've written for the GLOBE and have been quoted by the Globe. Sheesh.
