An MBTA bus driver has been charged with stealing the wallet of a passenger who had just gotten off the bus and entered a subway station.
5 Investigates has learned that Lee Creech was arrested by MBTA Transit Police after the bus passenger reported the theft on Friday, Dec. 23.
According to a police report, surveillance video shows Creech pulling the wallet out of the woman's bag at the Forest Hills MBTA Station.
The passenger said she got off the Route 42 bus in the lower busway around 5:35 a.m. and took the escalator to go to the main mezzanine area of the station.
