SEAN O'BRIEN AND HIS GLASS MANSION
SEAN O'BRIEN IS ONE OF THE MOST CORRUPT TEAMSTER LEADERS IN THE HISTORY OF THIS GREAT UNION. BUT NOW BECAUSE HE'S RUNNING TO BE THE GENERAL PRESIDENT, HIM AND HIS POWER HUNGRY FRIENDS WOULD LIKE YOU TO BELIEVE HE'S A CHAMPION OF DEMOCRACY AND JUSTICE, INSTEAD OF AN EGO DRIVEN CORRUPT THUG!
HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF SEAN'S DIRTY DEEDS:
O’BRIEN WAS SUSPENDED FROM OFFICE IN 2014 FOR THREATENING MEMBERS, HE SERVED A 2 WEEK SUSPENSION FOR HIS ILLEGAL ACT.
International Vice President Sean O'Brien has been charged by the Independent Review Board (IRB) for threatening to "punish" members for running for local union office in Rhode Island Local 251.
O'Brien issued his threats at a campaign event for the incumbents, declaring that Local 251 head Joe Bairos was "one of his closest allies" and that anyone running against him would have a "major problem" after the election and would "need to be punished."
O'Brien's threats violate the Teamster Constitution and federal law (the Landrum Griffin Act), which makes it illegal to threaten to retaliate against members for exercising their union rights.
"You know, TDU's famous for saying how we're all brothers and sisters, we're all taking care of each other and when this is over we'll all be friends. I've got news for you, anybody who takes on my friend, Joe Bairos and his team, or Local 251, they've got a major problem. They'll never be our friends. They need to be punished. They need to be punished and they need to be held accountable for their actions."
IN 2016 LOCAL 89 PRESIDENT FRED ZUCKERMAN SAID THIS OF THE INCIDENT-
"Now the IRB gave O'Brien a suspension for his illegal threats... I would run him out of this union if I was the General President"
WE GUESS IF YOU CAN'T RUN HIM OUT YOU MAY AS WELL RUN WITH HIM RIGHT FREDDY THE FRAUD???
LATER THAT SAME YEAR HE SENT MEMBERS OF HIS LOCAL TO PICKET A NON UNION FILM PRODUCTION JUST OUTSIDE OF BOSTON. BECAUSE OF O'BRIEN"S FAILURE TO PROPERLY TRAIN THESE MEMBERS IN PROPER PICKET LINE BEHAVIOR AND THE ACTIONS THEY SUBSEQUENTLY ENGAGED IN, FEDERAL CRIMINAL CHARGES WERE FILED AGAINST THESE MEMBERS. INSTEAD OF DEFENDING HIS MEMBERS AND TAKING RESPONSIBILITY AND OWNING UP TO HIS OWN MISTAKES O'BRIEN DID THE OPPOSITE.
Daniel Redmond — one of the four Teamsters who prosecutors accused of yelling slurs at the Top Chef crew and slashing their tires — called O’Brien hypocritical for criticizing International president Jimmy Hoffa, who O’Brien is considering running against, for not acknowledging the acquittals.
“How could your local president send guys to a picket line, and then turn around and file a report against us — and then you end up getting indicted?” Redmond told the Herald. “It’s just absolutely outrageous, disgusting, and he should be ashamed of himself.”
IN 2016 O'BRIEN ONCE AGAIN THREATENED MEMBERS AND ATTACKED UNION DEMOCRACY AT THE IBT CONVENTION. HE LATER LIED TO THE THE ELECTION SUPERVISOR WHEN THEY INVESTIGATED THE PROTEST MADE AGAINST HIM.
Article VII, Section 12(g) of the Rules prohibits “[r]etaliation or threat of retaliation by the International Union, any subordinate body, any member of the IBT, any employer or other person or entity against a Union member, officer or employee for exercising any right guaranteed by this or any
other Article of the Rules…”
The protest alleged that Sean O’Brien violated this provision by telling Zach Pfeiffer, “You are a punk. I know who you are. You are nothing. You don’t want none.” We find that O’Brien said the words attributed to him by Pfeiffer. In reaching this conclusion, we credit Pfeiffer and do not credit O’Brien. We do not credit O’Brien for several reasons, including
that his explanation for moving from his front row seat in Section 2 to the rear of the section is not
credible, as noted above. Further, the still photography shows O’Brien leaning toward Pfeiffer and Pfeiffer looking directly at him, supporting the conclusion that O’Brien was speaking to Pfeiffer at the time the photographs were taken. In addition, sergeant at arms Collins credibly reported to our
investigator that Pfeiffer told O’Brien, “I’m not afraid of you,” a statement that would not make sense except when uttered in response to a previous statement by O’Brien. Finally, the context supports that O’Brien made his statement to Pfeiffer because Pfeiffer had reported O’Brien’s presence to OES’s
Childers, who had directed O’Brien to sit down. We conclude that O’Brien spoke to Pfeiffer to taunt him for his unsuccessful effort to have O’Brien leave the area.
THESE ARE JUST A FEW EXAMPLES OF O'BRIEN CORRUPTION, THERE ARE MANY MORE TO COME.
REMEMBER- JUST SAY NO TO OZ1
