Thank you so much for speaking with me on Monday morning, 9/16 at
Dempsey's restaurant. 

You shook my hand and promised me that you would look into the public access situation in the city of Medford, telling me you had heard about the issue.  

That meant a lot to me.

All citizens deserve the Free Speech platform that is access television, something State Rep Paul Donato said is "the most protected right" in America.

Yet the Issuing Authority, Michael J. McGlynn, seems to intentionally
be keeping his opponent, Anthony D'Antonio, from being able to talk
about vital issues on television.  It's a "media blackout" which gives
the advantage to the 26 year incumbent Mayor.

Issuing Authority McGlynn is in possession of 4 reports:

1)McGlynn asked me to give him information when I met with him
at his office in October of 2006.   He has my 27 page report.

2)After my report, he had the City Solicitor write The Rumley Report
on February 10, 2008, two years and four months after my initial report.

3)The Mayor / Cable TV "Issuing Authority" then hired retired Judge
Marie O. Jackson, Thompson (with taxpayer monies, $3900.00).
Judge Jackson-Thompson wrote that the Mayor could go to the Sec of
State or you, the Attorney General, if he felt it went to the level of
"malfeasance"   With the arrest of the Mayor's good friend from TV3
on September 4th (for allegedly a "false bomb threat") it appears that
level of malfeasance has been reached.  Please look into it.

4)Failed audit that Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. intentionally
failed to comply with. Melanson Heath & Co paid about $10,000 in
taxpayer monies and Michael J. McGlynn refused to comment on it
to the public funding it. (go to 3:25 in the above video to hear testimony to the judge about the failure of MCC to provide documents to the auditors)

From one Medford resident to another,  how can we have a fair election for Mayor or for Governor if all candidates cannot get their message out in Medford?

This is a very intentional action by the incumbent Mayor to keep the
citizens off of the Free Speech platform that we pay for.  It hurts his
opponent, it hurts council candidates McGlynn may not like, it hurts
all of your constituents.

It's a deception by City Hall designed to give McGlynn an unfair
advantage over possible write-in candidates and - certainly - over
the official opponent, Anthony D'Antonio

With Access TV D'Antonio could have - possibly - garnered 3,000
more votes in 2011 and would be Mayor today.  McGlynn had plenty
of commercial on TV3 Medford, but the station REFUSED to broadcast
D'Antonio's DVD, the TV station lying about "audio problems" that didn't exist.

The "audio problem" was that McGlynn didn't want to hear D'Antonio's
voice and allegedly had the station pull the video I had taped for
Mr. D'Antonio in Winchester at WinCAM.   I can assure you, having
hosted shows since 1979, the audio was excellent.

But that's how McGlynn plays hardball, outside of the fair and democratic
process.  Mr. McGlynn uses the Public/Educational/Governmental monies to pay for high school salaries and for his "general fund."  Do you really think he wants to be fair with the cable TV subscribers? Cable TV subscribers are cheated out of their cash  in such a flagrantly transparent way, and the McGlynn Administration TURNS A DEAF EAR TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT COMPLAINS TO HIM ABOUT THE RACKET THAT IS TV3.

An autistic man, John Byers, was abused by TV3.  I caution you, the next
allegation is raw and difficult for logical people to fathom:  McGlynn's friend who was recently arrested allegedly sent Byers to Stop & Shop to ask women if they have a "G" spot.   The disabled person was allegedly almost arrested.

This is how TV3 is using the access station, to denigrate people   When Byers complained to McGlynn, McGlynn's Administration (McGlynn and a city  lawyer) allegedly asked the disabled man why he didn't want to go back to TV3 and do his sports show.  How illogical and INSENSITIVE of the Mayor.

At the City Council on September 24 this issue should be front and
center.   Councilor Paul Camuso, a loyal McGlynn supporter, has invoked
Rule 21 to silence the community from speaking on TV3 (you read that
right; McGlynn's supporter, Camuso, doesn't want people using the
government channel we pay for to discuss this at "the people's forum.")

It is pure censorship by the one man with the power to open the doors to
access, Issuing Authority Michael J. McGlynn, candidate and 26 year
incumbent Mayor.  The doors to access are closed, intentionally, by
your colleague McGlynn.   Your helping Medford will resonate throughout
the access community as I am going to do a report on my show (which
reaches about 8 million homes in Massachusetts and New York) as a
follow up to our meeting.

Candidate McGlynn is too much of a coward to allow Mr. D'Antonio
to speak on access television over the next 45 days.  The community
is being cheated and the Mayor is tilting the election, unfairly, giving
himself an unfair advantage over Mr. D'Antonio.

These are the facts.   Also, to reiterate, Michael J. McGlynn's friend at TV3 was arrested on September 4, 2013, according to the Medford Patch, under a  warrant for a "false bomb threat."  McGlynn used school committee time to praise that individual on the government channel, which was highly inappropriate.

Mr. McGlynn stands in the way of Free Speech, but praises a person
who later is accused of calling in a false bomb threat.

We need our Attorney General to read this and take swift action so that Michael J. McGlynn does not interfere in Election 2013 more than he already has.  We need our Attorney General to order an emergency access station for the citizens of Medford.

These are just some of the hurdles facing Medford voters who aren't allowed tohear opposing points of view in a city in America.   As you, Attorney General, appear to have a close relationship to Michael J. McGlynn,it is vital that you tell him to open a new TV station this week, otherwisethis election is tainted.
