Nothing has changed, they just got slicker and more deceitful after old Gerry had his time ruining the lives of those around him.
No one in this city has the stones to tell Sacco or Rumley or Muccini-Burke that we know what they are all about.
They are gangsters in suits. But they are still gangsters, and they would rather you dead than know what they are up to.
They are the poison in the Mystic River, they are the slimy moss around the Condon Shell, they are the reason a beautiful city like Medford is sick, on life support, with broken roads and high tax bills.
You proud that you are represented by Adam Knight, called "scum" by Mario Martin when Martin ran for office?
It wasn't appropriate for Martin to declare that while running for office, even if it is one thousand percent true.
Adam Knight, Rick Caraviello, Fred Dello Russo, those individuals are despicable and carry the water for Mrs. Burke.
Scarpelli and Falco are just as bad, they just behave themselves in public, even though you know to leave a broomstick and children who were not brought up right with your own kids and having Scarpelli supervise means your kids could be raped in the most horrible, painful and disgusting of ways.
So Scarpelli is now your city councilor.
You want that kind of selfish individual in office when a child was raped because Scarpelli was one of the chaperones.
Look at George Scarpelli and see an individual with no shame, no desire to be a "public servant." Like most of them, including clueless Michael Marks, who was on the dark side with Camuso and Dello Russo not too long ago, it is all about them and not about you.
When the moment of truth arrives, Marks will let Paul Donato grab the family jewels in front of two little children, Mr. Falco, and a student, and won't say a word, won't file a complaint, the good old boy network, and Donato telling Marks that he's got Marks by the balls...with Stephanie Muccini-Burke laughing like the witch that she is.

Then - instead of having her two sons on a robo call, Mrs. Burke has Breanna Burke call you to campaign for mommy dearest.
Breanna, get a clue, your mother would throw your own virtue under the bus in her lust for power if a teacher ever took advantage and had sex with you at the high school.
Your mother doesn't give a damn about your reputation. She used you like a dishrag in that robo call.
What kind of mother sees two little children at the high school, thinks Donato grabbing Marks' testicles in front of those kids is hilarious, will ask a CORI check of Michael Marks if he wants to be on access TV, takes the access money and splurges the funds - not on access - but on the government and educational channels, and has a husband calling a public access producer a "motherfucker" in front of dozens of people at the Chevalier when the videographer, me, was there to create a back-up tape in case the broadcast didn't work.
Sick, twisted people. Hey, they are YOUR parents. A foul-mouthed daddy and a mom who thinks sexual stunts in front of little children are FUNNY. They both need to be investigated.

She has no shame. A bad mother does not make for a good mayor, and Stephanie Muccini-Burke is a very, very, VERY bad mother.
Shame on her, and God help you, young lady, for being brought up in a household with a foul-mouthed daddy and a dirty-minded mom who laughs at dirty sex jokes by a creepy old state reprobate.
This is OUR city, and those dirty rats have infected it with their venom, enabled by Mark E. Rumley
It's enough to make you want to puke.

What did the Carpenters sing? All you get out of love is a love song? *more like a "don't love you anymore song" but I must say, he was the best songwriting partner I ever had...so sad...the world could have had more fantastic sound had he ever gotten his act together. Truly loved that guy too...so sad when you know that you have to finally say goodbye.
