A Norfolk County Superior Court jury found Mark K. Smith, 44, guilty of rape of a child with force, rape of a child, and eight separate accounts of indecent assault and battery of a child under 14 years of age on Dec. 11.
An area man will spend nine to 15 years in MCI-Cedar Junction after being convicted of repeatedly raping three Walpole sisters.
Smith received six to 10 years in jail for the lead charge of rape and three to five years for the secondary counts of indecent assault and battery. After he is released from prison, Smith will be subject to three years of probation.
