Medford’s Moral Dilemma: Adam Knight

 Character matters in city government 

Local politics - a complicated thing. Take Bob Maiocco, once the big cheat was exposed he tumbled from the powerful position of City Council President  to the cemetery commission and now at the retirement board. Quite literally, no real standing in the community.  Maicon(Maiocco the Con artist =Maio-Con) like Knight, a three part story. The character flaws, the inevitable fall, the exile 

Medford suffers as these bad actors proliferate, taking your monies, perverting your vote. 

Adam Knight is a batterer. An abuser.  Now the flawed, immoral, deficient public figure has his ugly temperament chronicled in a police report.   Knight’s distorted personality creates a dilemma for the mayor and the distraction holds Medford back. With no moral compass Knight considers himself above the oath of office. Above the law  

So why should Medford  accept crazy?  Fleeing a bank at a high rate of speed after, quite literally stealing a bank door and hiding like a coward from law enforcement is a huge story Adam Knight attempted to downplay in the Medford Transcript. A good defense attorney would tell him to shut his mouth. Knight’s pathology, however, is that of repeated knee-jerk reactions in quick succession. Truly frightening to any rational, reasonable person. Knight’s conduct just massively offensive 

Again, like Bob Maiocco primping for the churchgoers in West Medford, the delusions of grandeur hardly benefit the citizenry  These petty individuals so full of anger have some inner need to satisfy, to beat down their self-loathing  Damaged people more qualified for the psychiatrist’s couch than the socio-economic position they crave but are not qualified for.  Certainly not with sociopath branded on their forehead and resume’ 

Adam Knight’s inequities stem from his lack of  privilege, power and control.  His dysfunction within his own family, from his allegedly skewed relationship with his parents, allleged  alcohol abuse and the horrible accusations /allegations of his publicly witnessed temperament as it relates to his wife and children- a kaleidoscope of cruelty which makes the disgraced public figure unfit for duty. Adam Knight’s Jekyll and Hyde persona more Mr Hyde than is necessary for the taxpayers/voters of Medford. Paul Covino and Sgt Mackowski can relate. Every time they look in the mirror. Perhaps it is time they did their job, arrest Adam Knight, throw away the key
