When the strategy to go after Breanna for racism backfired, its alleged architect, Mike McGlynn, appeared to lose faith in John Falco QUICKLY!

I will be writing a more concise story on this.  Call the article here "pre-production."  Getting my thoughts together before I investigate further.

 Remember when I joked on July 20th that McGlynn might be having brunch with Breanna?  I never thought in a million years it could happen.  Turns out, that's - quite possibly - exactly what was going on!

Michael J. McGlynn is a masterful local politician; there are few better. Give the devil his due. 

let us look at the facts to get to the truth:

1)That Mark Rumley went after Breanna with the force of a tornado, and lost his client Aleesha Nunley Benjamin in the process (I think it was my publishing the fact that Rumley was on the RACIST TV3 board that had Nunley Benjamin give Rumley the boot!)  and that Breanna came out stronger with Falco looking like a buffoon, well, it gave master strategist McGlynn a look at the playing field.  Backing Falco not smart (which is why Falco is sucking up to Knight, the union and Our Revolution: absolute sign of fear and that something is wrong with Falco's campaign beyond nutjob Kerry Laidlaw.)

4)In the TV3 battles I had some serious consultants behind the scenes.  I said to one "David Skerry (McGlynn's cousin by marriage) is not a very good attorney."  That was my opinion.  My learned colleague (and not the attorney that handled the trials) said to me "He's a master strategist."   I had quite a bit of inside info on my sparring partner, David.  You have to when the stakes are high.    We all have our gifts, especially in our old age.

Another learned friend said "You guys really hate each other. It's in your DNA!"   Probably true.

So that is what puzzles me IF Breanna and Mike are having a political affair.

McGlynn is also a master strategist, like his cousin-by-marriage.   McGlynn and his brother Jack know what they want.  And sometimes they have to break bread with the enemy and cut deals.   Politicians make for some very strange bedfellows.
