Hello Adam,
I'm hearing that Zac Bears and Nicole Morell of "Our Revolution Medford" are working the polling places.
I'd like to know if this rumor is true.
It's
a free country, I get that, but my concern is that they co-wrote a
letter to the Medford Patch endorsing a candidate for Democrat
Governor's Council and then there are rumors that two sitting city
councilors are working the polls? Aren't there enough Medford residents
out of 60,000 or so to handle those duties? Maybe all elected
officials should be working all the polling places. Do you think this
looks good, if true?
Interesting
that Bears and Morell scream from the rooftops about their fellow
councilors with an alleged complaint regarding the Open Meeting Law,
yet
they spend their time promoting another candidate - one for Governor's
Council - when Medford has so many unresolved issues like the missing
monies
of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., a
convicted felon on the school committee (who also endorsed Helina
Fontes,) the 32 or so police officers on the Brady list - the most
untrustworthy in all of Middlesex County, and a plethora of other issues
the city council fails to discuss properly...the current state of
public access where
city hall demands a CORI
check of each and every access producer with a convicted felon on the
school committee. Such hypocrisy. Such a blatant disregard for the
First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. CORI checking Free Speech
with a convicted felon on the School Committee. That takes the cake.
Why
would the city of Medford put itself in the kind of situation, if the
allegations are true regarding Bears and Morell clearly favoring one
candidate while allegedly working the polls? It's a slippery slope and I
would like an explanation from the city clerk.

3)Have you received any complaints from the public?
4)Is
there a conflict of interest three ring binder in your office that the
previous city clerk had and have Zac Bears and Nicole Morell made any
formal statement
about being active members of a city council and working the polls?
5)Are there complaints filed at the office of the Sec. of State regarding this alleged conduct that you are aware of?
