Dear Atty Scanlon and Honorable Mayor Lungo-Koehn
I will be submitting an Open Meeting Law Complaint on City Clerk Adam Hurtubise and Council President Richard F. Caraviello.
One aspect of the complaint is the failure of Hurtubise, and by extension Caraviello, in regards to "maintaining accurate meeting minutes, as well as the limited, enumerated purposes for holding an executive session, ..."
The petition that I submitted was trashed, Clerk Hurtubise creating his own fictional petition, one that alleged my petition was about the "reputation"
of a "city employee."
The use of the fraudulent petition altered the meeting minutes in a disastrous way, cheating the taxpayers who fund the council and deceiving the voters during an election cycle. As city hall found out when the office of Mark E. Rumley attempted to falsely call the L'Italien Report a "personnel issue," it was slapped down by the Secretary of State's office's public records division.
In reality, what Hurtubise submitted was a "get out of jail free pass" for Caraviello to downplay the severity of Adam Knight's wrongful conduct, as outlined in Sgt. Mackowski's police report.
I have prevailed over Mayor Muccini-Burke and Roy Belson, Neil Osborne and Rachel Tanenhaus on previous Open Meeting Law Violations,
and must say that in regards to the Osborne/Tanenhaus situation, the city's response looked like a Saturday Night Live skit. They lost.
The journalist prevailed (again.)
Because the mayor has extended the fraudulent CORI check and extremely hypocritical (and equally fraudulent) Policies and Procedures devised by the untrustworthy former solicitor, Mr. Rumley, citizens are censored with impunity on the access television that they fund.
It's like Malden Executive Director Ron Cox at a party with me. I look at Cox and said "What you did was illegal" (at the TV station party) and
Cox matter-of-factly responds "I know."
It's like Caraviello and Knight thinking they are the law. Sgt Mackowski tried that stunt in criminal court and got egg on his face.
The city should consider re-writing the Policies and Procedures, remove the CORI check, and establish a non profit with sane people in control.
The mayor has my background clearance check from the Commonwealth. I'd be happy to write new policies since I have more experience in local
access television than most in the region, starting on Day Street in Somerville back in 1979.
The Mayor, who said she would work with talented people in the region, has deceived us. Let's work together to establish an access TV and Radio station.
As I was program director for two AM radio stations, and consultant to the PD at a 50,000 watt station (93.7) - and voted onto a board at a Somerville radio
station, I come with some experience that can benefit Medford. As Director of Research for a national company in 1995, while a member of TV3, I worked directly with the president and the CEO in developing PBS specials on actor Paul Sorvino and Marilyn Horne; meeting with director Clark Santee
(famous for A Night With Lou Reed, Farm Aid, etc. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0763438/ ) (it was my idea to have Sorvino perform some of his famous roles between the opera he was singing.)
I submit that there is a huge amount of jealousy in Medford, especially from members of the city council
How these malicious actions against someone offering to help benefit Medford is the question that a mayor offering "transparency," "Integrity," "community" can't or won't answer.
Which makes her position as tenuous as the deceptive Agenda listing by Clerk Hurtubise, and the cowardice of Adam Knight in regards to his bad actions as listed in the police report.

One hundred and eighty days to Election Day, Breanna...and the clock is ticking swiftly for a possible new mayor. The taxpayers are being alerted to what is truly going on with the cabal behind the wizard's curtain.
