Scarpelli's flaccid 2023 campaign matches that of his Abbott and Costello partner-in-political stupidity, John Falco when Falco ran for mayor last election cycle, and lost. This not very dynamic duo has run out of gas.
Only one posting on his political Facebook page from July 19, 2023, a month ago today, is not going to get anyone elected.

The Boogeyman of Butler St. takes up space on the council. No motions and resolutions that this journalist feels are pertinent to Medford. The big old Humpty Dumpty is a waste of space, consumes too much of his own hot air in the council chambers, and is the fizzling, floundering last gasp of the crooked McGlynn administration.
Not that his replacements will be any better, it's chaos and a flustercluck, and you can blame Scarpelli for creating the vacuum as a weak city councilor who set a bad example for the children now getting elected and running in circles.
Political hack that won't be missed once the voters finally give the McGlynn team the boot on its last gasp: Election 2023.
No Madame Knight, no Falco, no Rick Caraviello, the last four frauds are almost done and will fade off into obscurity with Michael Marks.
