This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:

1)The business certificate for RC-limo.com or RC Grand Limos or whatever name City Councilor Richard F. Caraviello uses for his livery company or limousine service which should be available in the city clerk's office

2)The document at city hall which may provide the corporate name and shareholders of Councilor Richard F. Caraviello's company, if any.

In a previous document request regarding elected officials we understand that City Hall may not have certain documents requested. An upcoming editorial will clarify the need for elected officials to be held to the highest of standards with their CORI check, business documents and other matters made public.  The taxes in Medford keep rising and certain elected officials are not held accountable.  This journalist has documented inappropriate behavior by city councilors and school committee members in the past.  With charter review now in motion, it is the right time for citizens to demand accountability and elected officials providing much, much more information about their businesses so that voters can make informed decisions.

I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request.  If the fee is more than $5.00 please advise me.  As an esteemed member of the fourth estate in Medford, the only journalist obtaining results at this specific point in time, I humbly request that you waive any fees associated with this document search.

The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.

After a spectacular loss in criminal court, Rick Caraviello made a spectacle of himself as city council president.

The creepy owner of RC Limos harassed his victim after Caraviello lost the court case, yelling in the victim's window on Central St with his pudgy consigliere next to him.  Stalking the victim twice on Salem Street and being the general nuisance that Caraviello is known to be around town.

Barber chairs beware as the rumor/allegation is that Caraviello broke the barber's chair after a haircut in or around Medford Square.

The goal is to get the information from the Scarpelli court cases out to the public in a uniform way.

Residents are STUNNED and did NOT KNOW the extent of the alleged depraved indifference of some of the alleged chaperones.

Pure depravity.

What kind of parent would let their kid near the dangerous George Scarpelli* with what is now known about the fiasco, whether or not the verdict goes Scarpelli's way.

*allegations of threatening to punch in the nose young freshmen

*allegation that innocent Galileo Mondol was locked away in a cell 

*allegations of 50 instances of hazing

*allegations that chaperones were drinking

That George Scarpelli is so silent on so many allegations speaks volumes, doesn't it?

The sheer breadth of the wrongful conduct as alleged is so overwhelming that any sane individual would step down from a body like a city council and/or school committee.

Scarpelli's selfish motives in staying on the council, running for reelection, and not being upfront with the residents after his case was on the front page of the Boston Globe twice in two years, takes a heartless, soulless creep who cares more about his pocketbook and his job than the safety of Medford and Somerville residents.

Scarpelli needs to resign.
