Email to a Republican Friend

I am in agreement with the Republicans on the hill who have the integrity to call out the massacre that happened last week.

We, as Americans, cannot be bullied.

Two of the Capitol police are now under investigation for being complicit with the rioters, ten more or so may be.

I am happy that some in the GOP are denouncing what happened.

Seeing Medford residents applauding the violence, marching lockstep with the ONE PERSON who created our problems has forced me to be more vocal than ever.

It is time for everyone to employ logic, look at the horrible pictures on our TV screens, and realize it is one unqualified individual refusing to put the flag at half mast for a fallen police officer.

Refusing to agree to a peaceful transfer of power.

Only one person occupies the most powerful seat in the land, so the above Thomas Dougherty photo is inaccurate (not posted here, it is on Facebook - editor) and misleading.

Donald Trump is not looking to make our world a better place, it is the most blatantly selfish and weak bad actor who went golfing during a pandemic, knew that the virus was airborne and looked at his poor poll numbers and decided to let America get ill.

Thank God the Democratic party has the Senate, the House and the Presidency. We MUST expand the Supreme Courte because of the skullduggery by Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham vis-a-vis failing to put Garland to a vote, ramming an unqualified woman through after the death of a legend, Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I respect you, but now that Trump has been exposed as someone with no respect for the lives of police officers, someone inciting violence...well, I just wonder if Hillary Clinton did that or Joe Biden what you would say.

The honest thing to do is to understand that the winner of the popular vote, Hillary Clinton, would have used all the resources available to fight COVID - not go golfing, and not write love letters to a nuclear threat like Kim Jong Un; Hillary and Joe have the strength to stand up to Putin - someone Mitt Romney called one of our biggest threats.

Trump?

He is owned by Putin. Republicans are just too afraid to admit that they hitched their wagon to a con artist criminal.

The death of the police officer and the suicide of another officer because Trump chose to incite violence while Congress validates a fair election should be of great concern to you.

No other president in our history disrupted the transfer of power in such a way. His poll #s were firm at 40 percent all through the presidency, and he dares say that he "won" - he never got over 50, did he?

But Biden certainly did, and the Stock Market rallied when Biden was elected, if my memory is correct.
