AG's office says that the Board of Appeals "misled the public."
That's the rule, not the exception, in the unethical city of Medford, Massachusetts
On May 12, 1969, Anthony M. Arena was admitted to the bar.
On October 19, 2016 the Medford Transcript notes that Attorney Arena was no longer admitted to the board of appeals.
"The chair of Medford's Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA), Tony
Arena, resigned this week after the Massachusetts Attorney General's
Office concluded that the board violated the state's Open Meeting Law May 31 during deliberations on a proposed 490-unit apartment complex on Locust Street.
Mayor Stephanie M. Burke announced Oct. 19 that she had accepted Arena's resignation.

The weekly Transcript continues: “Anthony Arena has served the citizens of Medford with dedication and
distinction for over 28 years," Burke said in a press release. "I wish
him and his family many years of happiness and good health.” In
the release, Burke said "the finding of the Attorney General’s Office,
while concerning, does little to tarnish the exemplary and well-earned
reputation of Mr. Arena."
28 YEARS IS HOW LONG MCGLYNN WAS IN OFFICE. WAS MR. ARENA A MCGLYNN CRONY?
The
math is easy to do. Medford's shockingly low standards damaged its
citizens while the city officials feel entitled to do as they please
with little thought of being exposed. Martha Coakley allegedly -
appears to - have put up a shield around former Mayor McGlynn's funny
business, with new AG Maura Healey and D.A. Marian Ryan walking lockstep
with Coakley in not prosecuting the Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.
case thus far, the sleazy sleazy Medford Housing Authority (or true
punishment for reprobate Robert Covelle and his reprobate wife Patricia
DiPaola Covelle,) the DPW or the insanity over at Medford High School,
where seniors will be exposed to more of the same when the access
station opens over there, sometime in 2025
Oh,
and by the way, I'm a progressive Democrat disgusted by the way these
fraud Democrats conduct themselves in Medford. Little Donald Trumps
running around lying and besmirching people and so thin-skinned that if
you accurately report their wrongful conduct they will press false
charges against you and attempt to ruin your life

is NO LAUGHING MATTER when a sitting Mayor praises an individual that
the office of the Attorney General found had "misled the public." That
means, if Mrs. Burke praises someone who misled the public, then she
must mislead the public. just note the LIES from Burke about the
seniors getting free parking on the campaign trail, Those over 65 have
to pay 25$, not free; and those seniors under 65 can go to hell for all
Stephanie Muccini-Burke cares - while with all her money she has her
mother, Lena Muccini, stashed in Medford Housing instead of allowing a
needy person to have that apartment. Mrs. Burke's mom should be at one
of Mrs. Burke's 2 Massachusetts residences.
They simply have no shame.
If Ms. Lena Muccini needs housing, what does that say about a daughter on a mayor's salary while her vulgar husband, Brian S. Burke, is an Assistant Clerk of Middlesex Superior Court. Clerk Burke called me a "motherfxxker" when I was videotaping at the debate on October 15, 2015. I truly believe that he violated the canon of ethics, but Matthew Day in Michael Sullivan's office - Burke's colleague investigating Burke, didn't see it that way. Creepy, downright creepy.

Mrs.
Burke promised public access on the 2015 campaign trail, failed to
institute an access station when she took office, and my inspection of
the high school rooms last month with Superintendent Belson giving me
the grand tour - rooms that Stephanie Muccini-Burke promised would be up
and running in October - showed bare walls in September when I visited
the superintendent and saw NOTHING. Just an empty room like Burke's
empty promises. Disgraceful.
These
are not just empty promises from Mayor Burke, they are outright lies
while cable TV subscribers pay through the nose and get nothing - while a
half a million dollars or so collects dust
...over one half a million dollars saved the ratepayers by MY CRUSADE to save access TV.
You take me out of the equation, that half a million dollars would have gotten squandered by that dissolving 501c3...
This
fallout from the Anthony Arena case is the tip of the iceberg; a crack
in Muccini-Burke's armor, as if six or eight people fleeing from her
Administration mid-way through its first six months is not a huge red
flag. Jeff Kuhner at WRKO called Muccini-Burke a charlatan. How
embarrassing for a city that was under the rule of Saddam McGlynn for so
many years...28 to be exact.
Anyone
look into that allegedly broken computer chip during the election, the
allegations of having "dual registration" for Tufts University students
to be sent via bus to polling places, the allegations of 500 Haitian
voters, more allegations that will not be printed here just yet (though
I've hinted about the new allegations on my blog) - do you really think
Stephanie Burke was duly elected? Or did they pull out all the stops to
keep Bob Penta from getting in and seeing the books at the high school
and at city hall.
You already know the answer to that question. Show us the real books, Mrs. Burke. Show them.
IN
light of this little problem you now have with Atty Arena, and the
allegations of nonsense at the DPW, Medford Housing, sex scandals at the
high school (what DID happen to that varsity coach exiled on June 30
2015 and did he have inappropriate relations with a powerful
politician's daughter?) and - of course - TV3 Medford. You addy (pun
intended) it all up, Adeline, and something sneaky seems to be going on
at 85 Geo. P. HASSEL drive.
