Dear Public Charities Division:

An investigator in your department requested more information on Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. when available.

The station allegedly had a member who lived in Boston purportedly selling advertising prior to Mayor McGlynn's office pulling the plug on them.

---how much money did they accept from local businesses if this allegation is true?

---why did a Boston resident allegedly falsely claim he lived in Medford, in alleged violation of the non-profit's own by-laws, and then recruit that person, ostensibly, to be a salesman for "sponsorship" that was reportedly less sponsorship and more advertising.  Allegedly.

---City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley may have more information on "barter bucks" and "free memberships for life" instituted by MCC TV3 for crony insiders, allegedly serving the board of directors Ron Delucia, Harvey Alberg, the TV3 president, Arthur Alan Deluca, Cornelius Murphy and others.

Please see the information on Saugerties NY Public Access TV and alleged paid advertising.

The citizens of Medford have been cheated out of a service they pay for.  The Attorney General's office as well as the office of the City Solicitor by not expediting this issue have irreparably harmed the 2015 election, in my opinion.  Failure to scrutinize Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. properly and issue a public statement on allegedly missing public monies irreparably harms ALL citizens of our city.  The 2017 election is AT GREAT RISK which favors the incumbent mayor, Stephanie Muccini-Burke and denies the citizens of what State Rep Paul Donato calls "the most protected right" (political speech.)

Please issue a ruling on Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. soon.   Citizens are discussing a CLASS ACTION SUIT against the city and the embattled non-profit, Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.  I have been in meetings with a number of attorneys and will continue to talk to lawyers in the very near future to litigate against the appropriate parties for hijacking our free speech rights.

I have another suit against the city that I intend to file soon for an attempt to stifle my free speech rights with false accusations.  I prevailed over City Council President Rick Caraviello (who was with the City Solicitor, Mark E. Rumley, at the City Council a year or so ago bringing three police officers to the council ostensibly to intimidate me.   Prior to my victory over the useless City Council "president" and the Medford Police Department I informed one of the officers "A Judge gave me permission to be here." (at the City Council.)  The officer replied "And we are in agreement with you."

The City Solicitor's face turned beet red, his little alleged scam to deny a resident free speech rights was slapped down by the police.  Their insidious and destructive court case, a violation of an innocent man's civil rights, was denied them in court.  I will be litigating against them shortly, in Federal court, separate from the planned Class Action suit.

Why is the AG's office dragging its feet and causing irreparable harm to Medford residents by letting the TV3 Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. mess stay in limbo?  We deserve answers.

I intend to speak to the City Council of Medford tonight, 2/14/07 about this outrageous abuse of millions and millions of dollars of P/E/G monies, abused by a clueless mayor and allegedly fraudulent City Solicitor and City Council President.  IN fact, Solicitor Rumley's alleged actions on TV 3 are as disingenuous as the actions of MCC TV3 - the board of directors that the (allegedly) highly conflicted Rumley allegedly sat on and is now - allegedly - failing to investigate properly.

How do you have an alleged ex-board member allegedly investigate the alleged board that he allegedly sat on?  Especially when Rumley allegedly was a board member and the AG's office allegedly states in public records requests responses that "law enforcement" could be impeded if the public charities division gives the public information on this.   Are you investigating the alleged ex-board member, Solicitor Rumley, who allegedly has failed to give the public information on the alleged board that he allegedly sat on and - allegedly - is required to investigate?  Dereliction of duty - allegedly - by Rumley, in the opinion of this award-winning public access host.

The citizens want answers.

Sincerely,

Joe Viglione

Town attempts to sell advertising on Public Access TV Channel! SAUGERTIES, N.Y. >> ''

The state Comptroller’s Office last week said information was not immediately available about paid advertising on websites, but did provide opinions saying that the practice is inappropriate for government newsletters.
“The content of the newsletter, we believe, must be intended to inform or educate residents as to the official affairs of village government, and not relate to matters which promote primarily private, partisan or political purposes or undertakings,” auditors said.
Town Supervisor Greg Helsmoortel plans to seek a legal opinion on whether the town can charge a fee for advertising on a website used for broadcasting videos from Lighthouse TV23, the town’s public access channel.

In a telephone interview Thursday, Helsmoortel said the Town Board relied on the TV23 Committee’s opinion that revenue could be accepted from commercial businesses for placing small ads and a link on the web page.

“They might have used an attorney,” he said. “We were told by the committee it was legal.”

Lighthouse TV23 supporters have proposed a rotating banner advertisement on the video player frame on the website at http://lighthousetv.peg.tv, with links directing viewers to the sponsors’ web sites.

“It’s illegal if we put it over the TV, I believe,” Helsmoortel said. “But it’s legal if we do it on the net associated with the TV station.”
