MEDFORD, MA – The Medford School Committee this week completed public interviews of the four finalists for superintendent. Superintendent Roy Belson will retire April 30, earlier than originally planned, following the McGlynn gun magazine incident.

The finalists to succeed Belson are:

• Dr. Donna Straight, Assistant Superintendent, Student Services – North Andover Public Schools
• Dr. John Perella, Headmaster, Medford High School – Medford Public Schools
• Dr. Marice Edouard Vincent, Instructional Superintendent – Boston Public Schools
• Mr. Thomas Martellone, Elementary Principal – Lexington Public Schools

Public comment will be accepted until noon on Monday, April 9. Comments should be sent to suptsearchcomments@medford.k12.ma.us
