Dear Cable TV Subscribers:

This e mail will be edited and sent out in a more succinct and easier to read format.  Government Controlled TV is CENSORSHIP.
Our goal here is to keep you informed:

IF MICHAEL MARKS DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT
PUBLIC ACCOMMODATION
All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, as defined in this section, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin.

Question:Where is Michael Marks with some spine to back-up his statement and do something positive?

“That channel is bringing in hundreds of thousands in cable subscription money,” Marks said. “I personally don’t think we’re getting the bang for our buck at all. I think public access should be a standalone. It should have its own entity that runs it.”  Michael Marks

ANSWER:
A jellyfish city councilor can state the obvious by just quoting me, yet why is Joe Viglione doing all the hard work and Michael Marks, who couldn't even show up in Somerville for Dan Hurley's Somerville Pundits show when Marks asked me to ask Mr. Hurley to invite him, Michael Marks just collects a paycheck, throws spitballs at Mark Rumley (and Mr. Rumley, like some bad boy tenth grader, shoots them right back,) and doesn't do a damn thing to improve the station

In April I heard that Marks said at a Cable Advisory meeting "Joe Vig is right."   Yeah, stating the obvious again, Michael, yet Michael Marks failed to vote for the very thing I presented to the city council that he states in the newspaper that he's for.  Only Breanna Lungo-Koehn voted for my logical approach to access, Michael Marks and his cronies who voted against the VFW all drinking the Rumley/Muccini-Burke Kool Aid for 30K of your money a year.

Q: How much money are we talking about here?

A:Over 1 million dollars came in via the franchise fee since 2013 for P/E/G, so the estimate is that cable TV subscribers could have paid 5 million dollars total since 2013 when Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. lost the license after I, Joe Viglione, complained about that corporation in 2002, filing a grievance with Mark Rumley in 2003, and finally landing the knockout blow with help from Dorren Wade (who was discriminated against, as I was,) and Robert M. Penta, a city councilor who was at the forefront of dismantling TV3.   SEE PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST BELOW FOR ACCOUNTING OF ACCESS MONIES

Q: Why do Pat Gordon - the new station manager - and Jay Campbell ignore legitimate questions about TV3?

A: That's like asking the Catholic Church to comment on the sex abuse scandal.  Gordon and Campbell get their marching orders from the Muccini-Burke administration, usually with the city solicitor's fingerprints all over catch phrases like "moving forward," "TV3 rumblings, but that doesn't matter to me,"
"we need a CORI check to protect the children" -

Then, when they are advised that the 64k or so they are providing Patrick Gordon to keep the children supervised, jackass Rumley comes up with more horse manure dripping from his unethical mouth with "the possibility of unsupervised contact with the children"  - which is like Rumley saying a water pistol comment needs to be brought to the attention of the corrupt police chief, which Rumley brought to the attention of Chief Sacco BEFORE Sacco's son was NOT arrested for allegedly driving drunk.

Q: But if cops are supposed to set a good example and Chief Sacco didn't demand his son's arrest, what does that make Chief Leo A. Sacco, Jr.

A: A criminal who should be brought to justice, or at least arrested like the Medford Police Chief in the 1980s  (John C. Kirwan, 1984) was arrested for...you got it...driving drunk

Back to the TALKING POINTS CITY HALL GIVES THE TV STATION THEY ARE CONTROLLING

TV3 MEMBERS ARE A BIG PART OF THE NEW STATION WHEN THE TV3 MEMBERSHIP AND STAFF AND BOARD HARASSED CITIZENS LIKE SCARECROWS TO KEEP THE PUBLIC OUT OF TV3.

THEY ARE BACK - AND IT IS UGLY

Look at these two quotes:
PAT GORDON KNOWS NUTHIN ABOUT TV3 THE WAY ST. PETER DENOUNCED JESUS.
HOW CAN YOU BE A STATION MANAGER AND HAVE YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND WHEN IT COMES TO KNOWLEDGE OF PUBLIC ACCESS IN MEDFORD?

pat gordon  AUGUST 29  MEDFORD TRANSCRIPT
“I don’t know about what was in the past. I do hear a lot of TV3 rumblings, but that doesn’t matter to me,” he said. “I’m here now, and there’s all this possibility.”  Patrick Gordon  http://medford.wickedlocal.com/news/20180829/new-station-manager-shares-his-vision-for-medford-community-media

Jay Campbell June 12, 2018 MEDFORD TRANSCRIPT
IS THERE AN ECHO IN HERE? OR JUST TALKING POINTS?
But the Medford Cable Advisory Board members want the public to know that despite MCM getting off to a slow start, the station is up and running and the board is moving forward. (Like Donald Trump whose tweets are "in flux" as he has to backtrack and make up excuses - much like Jay Campbell)

We know NUTHIN' about TV3  Talking Point #2
Board members focused on future
Campbell, Sumney and Wilks are aware of the criticisms of the station and of the history of TV3.
“None of us were involved in TV3,” Campbell said. “Everyone keeps bringing it up, something none of us had anything to do with.”
IS THERE AN ECHO IN HERE?  OR SIMPLY RUMLEY TALKING POINTS???

moving backwards under Muccini-Burke as "issuing authority"
July 14, 2016, two years prior, Lisa Evangelista told the public the new TV3 is "MOVING FORWARD"
Is there a damn echo in here?

The City of Medford and the Medford Public Schools are pleased to report that the multi-media/access TV studio is moving forward.

two damn years later the Transcript echoes the same thing,
only in those two years TV3 2018 is moving backwards!
Two years of the "moving forward" talking point, yet where is the access TV for the September 4, 2018 election?  Nowhere to be found.

Moving Forward is Talking Point #1

PRODUCERS?  WHAT PRODUCERS?   ART DELUCA, UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE AG'S OFFICE FOR BEING ON THE BOARD OF TV3?

PAT GORDON - WHAT PRODUCERS?  THE OLD TV 3 PRODUCERS?  CERTAINLY NOT I, DID HE TALK TO YOU JOE FORTUNATO?  YOU CHRIS DONOVAN?

Given that MCM is only a year old, Gordon has a big job ahead of him – but that’s part of why he signed up for it. So far, he has been busy meeting city officials, talking to the producers of public access shows and getting acclimated to the equipment at the studio.

mark rumley's CORI check and "agreement" over the past six months are malicious stumbling blocks to freedom of the press and free speech

City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley / Medford Daily Mercury
on or about Nov. 16, 2008 (quoted from the 2nd Judge Jackson-Thompson hearing) saying:

“The one sentiment that I have heard that I take great exception to is that the city is trying to limit speech,” said Rumley. “The notion the city would censor or squelch free speech is baseless and as city solicitor I would find any such effort repugnant.”
